Doubling Down on Climate

In a Huffington Post piece earlier this week, the Environmental Defense Fund's Fred Krupp promises to to take an even more aggressive strategy against "the businesses that obstruct vital progress" on global warming. I wrote yesterday for the National Legal and Policy Center that Krupp has probably been hanging around the "Green Jobs" goons too long and was thus desensitized to the electorate's message from two weeks ago.

topics:
Global Warming, Environmentalism, Climate Change

These are zealots. Regardless of facts, they WANT to be right so badly that they will destroy anyone and anything that opposes them. These unbalanced fanatics equate destruction of opposition with vindication of "wrong facts."

Such pathological, one might even argue mentally ill, obsessives are all but impossible to defeat by rational, civilized discourse. This is precisely why the Green movement is so scary.

Fred Upton says "No problem! I'll 're-examine the lightbulb issue!" No, Fred, we've already re-examined the issue. Go re-examine your navel.

And never mind the fact that Ottmar Edenhofer, an economist and IPCC Co-Chair clearly stated on German television show Neue Zurcher Zeitung that, and I quote, "climate policy is redistributing the worlds wealth" and that 'its a big mistake to discuss climate policy separately from the major themes of globalization".
I think even the fruitloops on the left who can't decide which environmental "cause" to chase from week to week, may get a little bit bothered, when every transaction they do for the rest of their lives, from washing their car, to seeing a movie, will involve a UN mandated IPCC "tax" to go to the have nots half a world away-the very have nots who are building bombs to put on our planes, and who dance and cheer, each and every time our country has a tragedy.
