This is rather hilarious, from
WaPo’s front-page treatment of Team Obama’s cage match
with the election’s reality (“soul-searching”, per the
headline).
“People have given a lot of thought to this” according to an
anonymously quoted adviser. And, what have they concluded? Hey,
you got wiped out, but look at the bright side…his personal
numbers still look pretty good:
In some ways, they said, the
midterms were not as bleak a harbinger as some Democrats fear.
Though Republicans took the House and narrowed the Democratic
margin in the Senate, Obama’s personal-approval ratings remain high
and his core constituencies remain highly supportive.
Heh. You can do what you want to the girl, just let me
go…
I’d keep “searching”, fellas.

The Narcissist-in-Chief simply cannot, is not able to see himself as an abject failure.
Well then it's up to the voting electorate to make sure he gets booted in 2012.
That means bucking up and voting for the 'R' candidate in 2012.
No third party and no copping out.
danny| 11.14.10 @ 8:38PM
i agree with you margie about no third party, but i believe there is an outside chance that the 'r' may go the way of the dodo bird and be replaced with a 't'. your thoughts?
Rich Fisher| 11.14.10 @ 9:46PM
I agree that eventually a "T" may replace the "R" on ballots. However, let's take this a step at a time. Don't try to swallow the whole donkey at once. I suggest we get an "R" in the White House in 2012 along with some more "T's" in the House and Senate. Then in 2014 we put some more "T's" in the House and Senate and then in 2016 we go for the whole enchilada. We go for the"T" in the White House too soon and we lose momentum. Be patient, remeber the tortoise finally beat the hare.

Hi danny,
I say we keep doing as we are. As long as we keep sane and sober.. so to speak, and continue backing and voting for conservatives who run as Republicans I really don't think it'll have to come to that. It all depends on what we the people do with what we've got. In other words, it's up to us!
Lookin' good so far.

We Tea Party are urging Our tea party Kingmaker & The Senat point man Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina to run for The Presidency in 2012.
We Get A Twofor.
Carpe Diem.
Rich Fisher| 11.14.10 @ 10:18PM
I'm with you Tim but I still think Jim needs to run with the "R" by his name in 2012. I just don't think we'll have the Tea Party base where we want it by then. If we do, then I say go for it.
JimH| 11.15.10 @ 11:05AM
Otherwise the ballot would appear as
- DeMint Tea
Tim*| 11.14.10 @ 10:39PM
Agreed Rich.
We are pacing Our Tea Party purging of The GOP, Congress & The Executive.
Alice Moore| 11.15.10 @ 7:13AM
In 1980 Jimmy Carter had high personal approval numbers; even after the general election.
Ken (Old Texican)| 11.15.10 @ 7:38AM
Good thoughts, guys, (and gals), grin.
I would like to add one. The name on the Party means little these days. Ts can become "Ruling Class" too if we don't keep their feet to the fire and choose them carefully to start with.

Here's the lesson team-zero learned:
People are too dumb to understand our nuanced socialist message.
Here's the lesson Americans learned:
We are not going to up with anymore of this socialism.

Let me attempt to SPLAIN how liberals THINK concerning their desired political leaders; which is that they want a Kennedyisk, Clintonisk, Obamaisk leader which snake-oil salesmanship/inspirational qualities. Democrats in general are S-T-U-P-I-D and require a Reverand Jeremiah like inspirational, hell-and-fire/brimstone preacher to command them on how to tie their shoes and wipe their A**ES. Republicans alternatively want a competent manager/administrator/executive that is capable of making policy decisions and running the government [and unfortionately have received mostly failures with Reagan being the exception]. Government is similar [though different] than a business, and the presidency should require a competent executive to run its affairs, similar to an IBM, Microsoft, General Electric, etc; not some loudmouth politician peddling taxpayer-funded governmental service benefits to its indigent constituents [in return for their ignorant votes]!!!!
