The last several polls in Illinois show Mark Kirk pulling narrowly ahead of Alexi Giannoulias in the race for the Senate seat once held by Barack Obama. That's good news for Iranian democrats, who will gain an eloquent advocate if Kirk wins, as I expect he will. Check out this Journal of International Security Affairs essay for a look at Kirk's trenchant critique of the Obama Administration's approach to the Islamic Republic.

Kirk is dead meat. Dems do not lose close elections in the People's Republic of Illinois. Money will change hands all day today and by tomorrow we will hear of a surpise infusion of votes in particular districts, to the tune of 98% Dems and 2% Repubs, a la Al Franken last time out. They may discover four or five thousand paper ballots "found in a sack on the ground" near Honest Abe Lincoln's home, or in a cemetery, perhaps even in the back of a bus. But we can be sure that wherever they're found, the percentages will be as above.
Honest, fair, impartial elections, that's why I love about America.

Kirk the Jerk needs to worry about his own(?) country and let the 3rd worlders take care of themselves.

So Mr. Republican Cap and Tax is also a Neo con. The worst of all worlds. The Republican party doesn't need this RINO.
