From greenie trade press outlet Greenwire today:

CLIMATE: Hill inaction won’t delay int’l emissions pact — IPCC chief

[T]he chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change…Rajendra Pachauri, briefing reporters ahead of President Obama’s upcoming visit to India, dismissed the notion that congressional resistance to emissions caps — led by Republicans who often argue that such a move would be counterproductive without similar cuts in India and China — would likely delay international agreement on climate action.

America is making progress that “doesn’t necessarily follow from legislation,” Pachauri said. “So while, of course, legislation would make things that much more effective, I don’t think one needs to wait for that.”

Pachauri also indicated that U.S. EPA action, which Democratic lawmakers have long cited as a less palatable alternative to congressional movement, would be a viable option for Obama. “The executive branch of government does have a lot of powers, especially now that the EPA can effectively regulate emissions of greenhouse gases,” he said.

That’s right. We’ve got a plan, a job to do. US political will to acquiesce through the prescribed deomcratic processes? Ha! We don’ need no stinkin’ congressional approval!

Now whatever would possibly give this fellow with whom our government works very closely (just how closely we shall soon find out - appeal filed last week — one way or the other) these ideas?

Hey! Where's that guy from yesterday who was pretending to be me (posting under my name) and posted only a "Fuck you!" to answer some dumb ass liberal blathering? Because we could really use him right now to have a couple of words with Mr. Pachauri. Jeez! Where's the fake me when we need him?!

I'm certain our "Greenhouse gas" emissions are falling. There aren't as many people driving to work these days. Obama is really working to prevent global warming.

Not only are emissions going down, but so is illegal immigration (supposedly).

No job not only mean less cars on the road, but also less crimigrants sneaking in.

Talk about a law of unintended consequences

Yes, B.O. is a Man of Miracles indeed.
