Bored with dazzling production values and in-your-face political commentary? Then let this little video (TV production from the 60s; hairstyles from the 80s; embedding not allowed) created by the League of Women Voters in Cupertino & Sunnyvale, Calif., soothe your nerves. Part of a series that explores the pros and cons of all the statewide propositions, and painstakingly objective, it does a decent job explaining how Proposition 23 would negate the state’s global warming law. One interesting takeaway: they say oil companies have contributed $3 million in support of the measure, but environmentalists and Green technology companies have donated $2 million in opposition. You never hear about that second factoid in the media.
