Looks like Gov. Schwarzenegger and the legislative elites in California cannot count on the Tiffany Network to help their cause in stopping Proposition 23, which is the ballot initiative that would halt the state’s global warming law that limits carbon emissions. If it passes, the measure would prevent implementation of the law until the unemployment rate falls below 5.5 percent. How has CBS harmed the alarmists’ cause? Because Scott Pelley of “60 Minutes” investigated the Golden State’s true unemployment rate:

And the democrats, instead of being hopelessly behind in the many races for gov., senator, etc., are running very close to their challengers.
This is simply unbelievable that 40 to 50% of voters will still vote for the demokrats. This is why the USA faces extinction as a nation; first due to bankruptcy and then when those states with voters with brains and who care, will vote to leave the union. This time their will be no civil war, it will just happen.

I wonder how many of those folks at that meeting shown on 60 minutes voted for the far left in California.
For those that did, they make no connection between the disastrous economic policies of the Calif state politicians they voted for and the disastrous business climate these long-term unemployed now face.
