Adding to the bad signs for Democrats in the weeks before the midterm elections, a new Gallup poll finds that just over one out of five Americans say they are satisfied with "the way things are going" in the nation at this time. This 21 percent figure is the lowest ever recorded by Gallup at a midterm election since it started asking the question 30 years ago.
