If this is even two-thirds true, James O'Keefe should never get a dime from any reputable conservative, or any reputable news organization, ever again. This looks to be absolutely inexcusable. Read it yourselves, including following all the internal links.

Short version: O'Keefe planned to lure a CNN reporter onto a boat which, inside, featured all sorts of sexual paraphernalia, and then to try to seduce her on camera. The idea was to somehow expose her as being unprofessional, or something.

Read all the documents. O'Keefe's plan was both ludicrous and juvenile. I cannot imagine him having an even semi-reasonable explanation. Unless he does, he should be ostracized by the entire conservative movement. Period.

Punk.

Something here doesn't add up; Either O'Keefe has lost his mind or there's something here we don't know.

David| 9.30.10 @ 3:08PM

If you read the documents carefully, everything was written by Ben Wetmore, not James. Just because someone sends you a terrible idea doesn't make you bad. Who hasn't gotten a bad chain e-mail or forward? The only thing James did was say that it may be a good idea to bring her on the boat. Ben is the one who suggested harrassing her.

First of all, """"IF""""" this is """""TRUE"""" [and only if], then of course I [and every sane, rational person on the face of this planet] would certainly agree with there being some possible psychological problem with him.....................BUT this could very well be another attempt to discredit his work by the liberal establishment. The Landrieu federal office event [and his unwarranted arrest] was obviously such, since he went there to attempt to expose Landrieu's staff for not answering the multitude of phone calls it was receiving over her LOUISIANA PURCHASE dealings regarding Obama's welfarecare [and her using the power of her protected federal office protection to effectuate his arrest]. Now this CNN female issues a video of her opinion of what happened [with no corroborating witnessess in this video substantiating same] comes forth. Suppose I get in front of a video camera and claim that I just had a meeting with God Almighty........does that make same factual? Let's wait and see what other facts/witnessess come forth before we start throwing darts and arrows concerning O'Keefe, and not junp to conclusions, okay?????????????????

Oldefarte| 9.30.10 @ 3:28PM

PS: Wasn't there a very major chakeup concerning CNN's executive management within the last several days, and couldn't this event be somehow connected politically to same???????????

Oldefarte| 9.30.10 @ 3:31PM

PSII: Let's all don't make the same mistake we did concerning the late entry Louisiana Republican running against Vitter and his previous morality issues, when the same judge was equally guilty of moral issues himself..........HASTE MAKES WASTE!!!!!!!!!

Sean| 9.30.10 @ 3:35PM

Obviously this was suppose to be a joke on CNN. James wasn't going to seduce anyone just play into an absurd role. Sort of like he did when he dressed as a pimp and had a prostitute along. He should continue to get funding and donations, because unlike most conservative journalists he has some gonads.

SoCon| 9.30.10 @ 3:49PM

The Left hates O'Keefe because he grievously damaged their election-theft vehicle, ACORN, and they will do anything to destroy him. I'm suspicious.

What does Mr. O'Keefe have to say about this matter?

Michele B.| 9.30.10 @ 4:10PM

If this is true, it is most likely something so smart and with such deep meaning that it should not be questioned. If we start to ask too many questions we only aid the liberal establishment. I agree that we should not give any weight to this FEMALE CNN person's version of the event (even if she is a witness). This sounds like it's CNN's fault to me. I mean, why would the reporter dress that way unless she was asking to be harassed by O'Keefe!!!!!!!!!

Jeremiah| 9.30.10 @ 4:32PM

I'm sure you'd give the same respect to a FEMALE FOX reporter if the situation were reversed, right, Michele? Right?

Or are you like most liberals, respect and trust are to be accorded only to LIBERAL WOMEN?

Michele B.| 9.30.10 @ 4:57PM

Jeremiah your crazy! I don't respect this female CNN dingbat, so I am not sure what your getting at about only respecting liberal women. Did you even read my post??? We should not give weight to what she says, and no, I would be more likely to trust what a Fox reporter had to say (so, no I wouldn't give them the same respect).

Jeremiah| 9.30.10 @ 5:14PM

Sorry, I thought you were being sarcastic--it's hard to tell.

Oldefarte| 9.30.10 @ 4:23PM

I'd recommend to anyone interested to monitor what's reported on Braitbart. com regarding this issue!!!!!!!!!

Michele B.| 9.30.10 @ 5:01PM

Braitbart. com is really run by RINOs I wouldn't trust anything they say about this issue.

Jeremiah| 9.30.10 @ 5:15PM

Andrew Breitbart is NOT a RINO.

Oldefarte| 10.1.10 @ 11:24AM

You're acting 'stupidly', since the RINO term is most appropriately applied/used for describing REPUBLICAN POLITICIANS and Braitbart is a media person!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MikeN| 9.30.10 @ 5:26PM

From what people were saying about last time, this guy should be in jail by now. Yet he is not, no charges were filed. Perhaps this is another case of the liberal media trying to destroy someone on the right, with the right-wing media joining in just to show how professional they are.

Is it really plausible that a guy who arrested would then turn around and be in a plot to kidnap and rape a CNN reporter? Are we to believe he took his previous exoneration as a Bill Clinton like sign that he can get away with anything?

Bordo2| 9.30.10 @ 6:07PM

What young Mr. O'Keefe was considering is very close to stalking and/or kidnapping. He is a classless fool who got lucky once --thanks to a heavily edited videotape-- and now thinks he can do no wrong. This is a shameful episode and no one should find it anything less than disgusting, regardless of your political views.

Interloper| 9.30.10 @ 8:06PM

ACORN is corrupt to the core and amply deserved the public humiliation they received. O'Keefe is a national hero for exposing democrats' election theft.

Try not to be such a big liberal hack.

Disenchanted Journo| 9.30.10 @ 7:34PM

You are rigth on the mark, Quinn, as usual. More proof of how political activists (left, right, center) are not journalists no matter what they say. - http://goo.gl/fb/KINwW

bert | 9.30.10 @ 9:28PM

Who believe a single word from CNN ?
The same CNN that intentionally let their closeted gay Anderson Cooper sandbagged the GOP debates with a ringer Gay Officier asking about "Dont ask Dont tell " .
Were supposed to believe there "so called " reporter.

Um, we've not had a Perry Mason moment - yet!
