For months, it looked like unpopular Massachusetts Gov. Deval
Patrick would buck the tide that swept in Scott Brown because the
center-right vote was split between Republican Charlie Baker and
Democrat-turned-independent state Treasurer Tim Cahill. But a
new poll shows
Baker catching up with Patrick and Cahill becoming less of a
liability for the GOP.
The poll released Sunday was conducted by the University of New
Hampshire Survey Center for The Boston Globe. Among likely voters,
Patrick has 35 percent support and Baker has 34 percent. The
difference is well within the poll’s margin of error.
The survey suggests the independent candidate, Massachusetts
Treasurer Tim Cahill, is pulling voters equally from Baker and
Patrick, but is still only gathering 11 percent of likely
voters.
The numbers also show a huge enthusiasm gap, with 78 percent of
Republicans excited about the race compared to only 37 percent of
Democrats.

Wait a minute... I thought Patrick was a liberal?

Deval seduced 'em, music so lyrish,
Baker's fiery harping turns pyrish,
Much further down the trail,
Independently limps Cahill,
Can Patrick's name bring Luck of the Irish?

Clearly voters just dont know all of the bad about Baker. He is not on the site of Mass working families, and you can tell my his past choices, policy and experience. He has always sided with big businesses and corporate interests and he has taken absolutely no responsibility for the big dig. Which he pretty much oversaw. Check it out at: http://www.baystatefuture.com/stopdigging

Patrick not so good w the state budget eh? He was also an Obama supporter and was getting thrifty w taxpayer dollars which he later repaid. ($11k for drapes, a Cadillac and an assistant for his wife w a $75k salary. What exactly did she need assistance with that required paying someone this kind of salary?) He was giving sympathy to a prisoner convicted of a brutal 8 hr rape, got DNA testing on his behalf to find out that was further proof he was guilty. He called Citigroup on behalf of Ameriquest who he used to work for and who had predatory lending practices. Poor judgment at the very least.

...Poor judgement, or he's a Democrat, but I repeat myself ;)

Baker's not much. Better to give the people of Massachusetts what they richly deserve, Deval Patrick, and rebuild the state Republican Party on the ashes of a failed Patrick Administration.
