Amusingly stupid/hypocritical video of Loretta Sanchez below. (Thanks, Powerline.) If it's not Van Tran's birthday, Sanchez shouldn't have. Like, no, she really shouldn't have.

She has learned well from her D masters. Just imagine the outcry it a white Rebublican candidate had said something similar.

The seediness of this is that she is speaking to Univision, which has a very targeted audience. The underlying implication here is that she can talk to her audience with these racist connotations, with the implied assumption of entitlement as it pertains to elective office, assuming that only her intended audience will hear.

She's obviously ignorant to the fact that it's no longer 2004-2006, where there was little in the way of a conservative and activist blogosphere paying attention, such as it is today.

She's playing on the underlying xenophobia that extremist Latinos have towards Asians. And that's just disgusting.

Money bomb for Van Tran anyone?

That is why there is every effort being made to establish Spanish as the competing mainstream language in the United States. When we have two populations who do not share a language it will be very easy for the latinos to channel their own version and "insider" comments to their very own population of intentionally isolated voters.

The Latino Broad Sanchez Goes Racist On The Vietnamese Dude Tran.

Booger| 9.23.10 @ 11:21AM

How can a dude named Van Tran from Vietnam be anti-immigrant? All Sanchez had to do was wade the Rio Grande. Van Tran had to cross the Pacific Ocean to get here.

No real surprise, but thanks for shining light on this most recent example of politically correct racism. Brings to mind the Chicago White Sox' foul manager Ozzie Guillen, and Angels outfielder Torii Hunter. Both men have recently made racist remarks and have both been given a pass by the media, the Commissioner, and the public in general. No problem. Counter this with John Rocker complaining about the weirdos on the 7 train. Out of baseball, persona non grata. Check the comedians at any comedy club catering to Black clientele, or barbershop, or even churches. This example is a reminder why prosecution of the Philadelphia voter intimidation/hate speech case is so important. Racism is racism.

Boy, i can not wait for the Tea baggers to bring back government to the constitution.
Then all women in government can be fired, we can round up negre's to work our fields, instead of migrants from Me he co. And only land owning white folk can vote, and the State Legislatures will elect Senators.
Boy the Tea Baggers will also usher in American style Taliban dogma. We can burn witches again,
and make prayer compulsory in school, who cares what Matthew says about Jesus telling us to pray in private in our rooms, with the door shut.
We know more than that carpenter anyway.
After all, there is not a dimes worth of difference between Christian and Muslim freaks.

Wow. What tolerance. Such class. Have you no shame? Oh, rhetorical question... liberals have no shame.
