His greatest contribution to the world will occur when he shuffles off this mortal coil.

Such a nasty, petty, little man.

His greatest achievement: making possible the two terms of Ronald Wilson Reagan AKA Ronaldus Magnus.

Cut him some slack. He's just celebrating his recent loss of status as worst president in the country's history.

Hit the nail on the head there. What a gift before he passes away.

Carter is certainly superior as ex-President than as President. If that is what he meant, there will be hearty agreement all around.

"Carter is certainly superior as ex-President than as President. If that is what he meant, there will be hearty agreement all around."

Actually not, He did some very good things in economy for example the airline deregulation, while as an ex-president he did nothing apart from palling around with the dictators.

He is only superior to the current fool in the WH. Oh yes, I forgot, he is also superior to the buffoon in the VP position!
The current WH resident makes Carter look smart and Clinton look honest!

He must have forgotten about Desert One, the Iran hostage business, getting over the inordinate fear of communism, the malais, unemployment, inflation, ......... He is an old man, he has trouble remembering these things.

KansasGirl| 9.20.10 @ 10:11PM

Dernon Ruton| 9.21.10 @ 12:28AM

He would have been an even more spectacular success as an unheralded submarine officer who never had nor exercised political ambition.

" Carter Claims He's a "Superior" Former President ...."

Yeah - in his nightmares.

Mark H.| 9.21.10 @ 9:27AM

The only good thing Jimmy Carter did was as an ex-president: he lent his support to Habitat for Humanity. That was before he considered world "peacemaking" more important than helping the poor find housing.

Uticenses| 9.21.10 @ 5:12PM

Hey, come on now. Isn't Jimmy the Braying Ass a three-time Coogler Award winner?

G.V Catullus| 9.21.10 @ 11:20PM

This much superior president gifts to our world includes a murderous theocracy in Iran, and a marxist-sandinista dictatorship in Nicaragua.
