Two weeks ago, Republicans had lept to a 10-point lead in the Gallup generic ballot asking voters whether they favored the Republican or Democrat in their congressional district, yet by last week, they were only tied. Now a new poll out this week shows Republicans jumping back to a 5-point lead.

Real Clear Politics now shows no polls whatsoever without a large R lead. Which begs the question, why would Boehner want to compromise in advance on taxes at this point? If you're winning, keep doing what you're doing. Don't switch to a prevent defense, it only prevents you from winning.

Four letters, Booger--RINO

Ah, yes. But haven't you heard? This year we have a special RINO hunting season. No limits, bag all you want. Just ask the voters in AK, CO, and FL so far. This is one species of RINO that needs to be endangered.

It's time people stopped taking Gallup seriously.

At best, their methods are seriously flawed, making them inconsistent and thus unworthy of serious consideration. At worst, they are a Democrat-leaning propaganda machine.

I think they're a little of both, but inclining a whole lot closer to the the latter.

Rasmussen Generic Polling :

Um, one has over the years had an impression of the Galloping polls - they're fit for the smallest room in ones' home.

Yo - do Zogby still do polling?
