The liberal Americans for Democratic Action last year rated Castle the most liberal Republican in the House, voting the group's views 55 percent of the time.
Aaaaaand , this is why Jim DeMint , Sarah palin , The NRA and We ,Tea Party Rebels Support Christine O'Donnell .
The Tea Party Rebellion Escalates .
Rise Up !
Lullabys, Legends and Lies| 9.11.10 @ 9:35AM
I'm glad she's getting all these endorsements, but the only one that's important is the People of Delaware on Tuesday. I hope the good People there come out for her, because the GOP needs a good kick in the nuts, to get them on the same page as the Tea Party is. Maybe after seeing the American People reject, yet again, in another State, their Rhino Candidate, they may get on board too.
J Kelley| 9.11.10 @ 10:02AM
We must defeat all RINO Republicans. It is better to have a Dem. than a Republican who votes with the Dems. The Democrats always say they have bipartisen support when a Collins, Snow, etc. votes with them. We can have 55 Republicans in the Senate, and still not have the majority if we have 5 RINOS.
50-50| 9.12.10 @ 5:39AM
I kind of want to see Flaky O'Donnell win to see what Mr. Lord and his brethren will say when she gets crushed in the general. Everything I've seen suggests she's a major narcissist who will wear very poorly over a few weeks with anyone who doesn't attend Tea Parties. And don't forget, Delaware went for Obama by a 25 point margin.
Castle ain't much, but as least he votes conservative half the time and is electable.
Brooke| 9.12.10 @ 1:54PM
Blah, blah, blah, the RINO is electable, blah, blah, blah, the true Conservative is a whackjob.
We've heard it all before, ad nauseam.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome; no wonder we're in such a mess. When will you RINO apologist lunatics learn?
Principles mean nothing to weak, squishy RINOs Castle and his useless buddies like 50-50.
Elect Christine!
bcromagnon| 9.20.10 @ 2:42PM
Christine O'Donnell isn't insane...she simply possesses a child-like sense of entitlement, a below-average I.Q., unchecked narcissism and the standard hubris most sub-standard political candidates need to fuel their quest for power and attention.
In a country as great as ours, we shouldn't have to settle for dingbats like this train wreck to serve as candidates for higher office. This little girl is just another in a long line national embarrassments - not only to our political process, but also as a symbol of all that is damaged with the American People.
At most, Little Christine is a semi-attractive goofball who can shovel her brand if silly slop incoherent like some meat wagon cook. This is yet another reason for all the other civilized countries on the planet to scratch their heads in collective wonder…as we willingly sail towards oblivion. When will it end? Probable when we slide over the edge of Sarah Palin’s flat Earth. Wake up America…we’re in really bad shape.
Tim*| 9.12.10 @ 9:17AM
Zzzzzzzzzzz !
Castle's Apologists Play The Lesser Evil Card again .
This is exactly why neighboring Pennsylvania Tea Party Rebels purged Arlen Specter .
Had Enough Yet ?
We Tea Party Rebels Supports Christine O'Donnell on September 14th .
Rise Up !
Alix| 9.12.10 @ 12:05PM
Uh, oh! O'Donnell supporters -- go click on the Weekly Standard Blog for breaking bombshell re O'Donnell
Tim*| 9.12.10 @ 12:50PM
Zzzzzzzzzzz !
Send In The Next Castle Apologist .
Alix| 9.12.10 @ 12:59PM
Tim
I was swayable either way before I read the Standard's info this morning. You will still vote for O'Donnell?! She sounds a bit nutty...
Tim*| 9.12.10 @ 1:30PM
We Pennsylvania Tea Party Rebels can only finance and support Christine O'Donnell's Campaign to purge RINO-CINO Castle on Tuesday September 14th .
We purged The Perennial RINO-CINO Arlen Specter and are on the verge of electing Our Tea Party supported Real Conservatve Pat Toomey .
It's on Delawarian Registered Republicans to exercise their Freemen Voting Franchise on Tuesday .
If you are a Registered Delaware Republican , we can't stop you , if you freely choose to vote for Castle , as a classic RINO -CINO and his stands on gun control, his support for embryonic stem cell research, and his votes on taxes and budgets .
You have that Freeman's Right Alix .
Brooke| 9.12.10 @ 1:55PM
O'Donnell's going to win.
Mimi| 9.12.10 @ 3:41PM
BROOKE : Something is going on with this CAP & TRADE thing and CASTLE. For them to go after..O DONNELL with this much gusto and money doesn't make sense. I think there are some Big players in the mix here. It is little Delaware, a pro-lifer, what appears and sounds like a sweetheart of a girl, full of love of country, looking for its best, great on Conservative issues... Theres some BIG names and billions in the Cap&Trade; .....their waiting to pounce, their very impatient.. and someone like Christine just may be a lynch-pin... why all the fuss??? They usually don't play this hard. REPUBLICANS IN THE GREAT STATE OF DELAWARE....Vote in CHRISTINE like your LIFE depends upon it..
Brooke| 9.12.10 @ 4:01PM
Follow the money, Mimi; it's always the money.
Worthless Washington DC RINOs are just as dirty as the Corruptocrats .
Shades of Sarah Palin; The ruling class elite hate Palin because she's an outsider who is a reformer. Like Sarah, Christine is one of us.
GO CHRISTINE!!
50-50| 9.12.10 @ 9:12PM
I hope you dingbats are men (and women) enough to eat crow on this after the results come in on election day when she tanks (if she does win the primary).
It's silly and immature to act like weak conservative candidates can win any state in the country. They can't.
The GOP will never get to sixty in the senate with sixty Tea Partiers.
Comparing O'Donnell to Toomey is just dumb. Toomy is not a flake, he's a serious person. And Pennsylvania is more Republican friendly than Delaware.
But I know facts are the last things that interest this crowd, which just lives off emotions and buzz words.
Brooke| 9.12.10 @ 10:36PM
No crow eating here.
I'm sure you were a big McCain booster in 2008, too; how'd that work out for you anyway?
Washington DC is a mess and it's NOT because there are too many Conservatives in office, it's because there are too many RINOs in office.
There is no difference between Castle and Coons; why is that so hard for you to understand?
Tim*| 9.12.10 @ 11:14PM
We don't need Sixty Tea Partiers , Castle ApologistBoy.
We only need sixty Tea Party Supported Candidates .
The Largest Tea Party Group doesn't endorse Candidates .
Do your homework .
CalMark| 9.13.10 @ 2:17PM
50-50 you are brilliant.
Calling O'Donnell supporters "dingbats," "silly and immature," driven by "emotions and buzzwords."
Lots of insight and thoughtful analysis there, 50-50.
Some of us would prefer to vote on principle and take our chances rather than sell our souls to the Devil for what is (supposedly) slightly less misery.
Truthteller| 9.13.10 @ 11:43AM
Castle = Democrat. I've had to deal with Landrieu for years, playing the conservative demorat at election time but always voting with the communists in DC. Delaware, you don't want this. Send Castle to where he blongs Delaware, to the unemployment line.
Sparky| 9.13.10 @ 1:21PM
In all this stuff about O'Donnell, I cannot find any info on what she has to say about issues, except "jobs need to be created in the private sector", blah, blah. I've heard David Malpass running in the GOP primary in NY and he is very knowledgeable about issues and has some interesting ideas. But "Bunny Boiler" O'Donnell just filibusters and acts all nutty and she's our gal?
Missy| 9.13.10 @ 1:41PM
What a whackjob you are, Sparky; ever heard of Google?
Sparky| 9.13.10 @ 1:44PM
Thank you, Missy, for your kind comments.
Missy| 9.13.10 @ 4:21PM
You're welcome. I'm sure you're used to them, nimrod.
