I’d say James’ take is 50%-75% right. 50% right off the bat
because we know a Castle victory would prove at best meaningless,
by his being the third lady from Maine, adding “bipartisan” cover
to all manner of statist mischief even probably sometimes where the
Maine gals refused to budge. Like cap-and-trade.
He has assured us that this will be the case. That he won’t even
temper, e.g., his support for that energy rationing
scheme that’s been a disaster where it was tried in the admitted
model, Europe, shows he’s a) impervious to reconsidering his dogma
or, b) given that the proposal in the name of the climate
would, according to no one, have any detectable imapct on the
climate, he continues to hold on to that rationale for the agenda
(one that even Lindsey Graham
famously, hilariously ditched), he has a listening or
comprehension problem. These aren’t mutually exclusive and in fact
might be complementary troubles.
He knows what he knows and that’s all he needs to know. Elect
him, and you will affirm and elevate that approach. What the heck.
Arrogance of politicians isn’t an issue this year…
I think O’Donnell is trying but has yet to provide similar
proof-in-advance about the other proposition, that she is not
electable. Experience is that wave elections generally
wash back out around six years later because all sorts of otherwise
“unelectable” nominees are elected.
A month or so ago Sharron Angle wasn’t electable either. She’s
in a dead heat with the Majority Leader. O’Donnell’s baggage
troubles me more than Angle’s did at this point in my hearing it
tossed about. But the truth is that, about that, we just don’t
know.
But we do know about Castle. It’s not complicated.

Angle is three points behind Reid in the latest Rasmussen (leaners included). The Republican should be winning by ten points or more. Nevada is a more conservative state than Delaware. If you think O'Donnell has any shot of winning that state, you are kidding yourself (she's not even a good candidate).
Nick| 9.3.10 @ 4:04PM
Dusty Reid has never come close to getting above 50%, he is toast.

Oh Really Bullcrapper !
Democratic Senator Harry Reid and his Republican challenger Sharron Angle are still neck-and-neck in Nevada’s race for U.S. Senate.
The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows the candidates tied with 45% of the vote each. Five percent (5%) prefer another candidate and six percent (6%) more are undecided.
Reid and Angle were tied two weeks ago at 47% a piece.

With leaners, Rasmussen gives Reid a three point lead. Angle had a two point lead with leaners last poll. If you can't read it's not my fault (check realclearpolitics, who knows more about it than you).
The Republican should be at least ten points ahead of Reid Sr. in Nevada. Angle is an inarticulate dope incapable of defending her very conservative positions. Intelligent conservative candidates who can express coherent thoughts, like Joe Miller and Marco Rubio and Rand Paul will win.
Angle may pull through, but O'Donnell, a right-wing apparent deadbat and flake running in a liberal state, has no chance. One of the problems with wingnuts, left or right, is they always think the whole country agrees with them. Even in a GOP like this year, there are limits to who you can run and win with in some states.
Nick| 9.3.10 @ 6:51PM
Hello?...(knock...knock....knock)...McFly?
Can't you read?
The sitting majority leader of the U.S. Senate can't get above 50% in the polls. An incumbent that can't get above 50% by election day is going to lose most all of the undecided's votes.
Dusty Reid is a gonner. Buh-bye!
Tim*| 9.3.10 @ 9:11PM
Now the qualifying starts .
Now you're positing that Angle can pull through .
Isn't that big of ya .
Aaaand , I can read and I read the polling straight from Rasmussen Polling . You attempted to half truth the September 1st polling AgendaBoy.
We Tea Party Rebels will answer your Trash Talkin' nationally on November 2nd.
We Can See November from Our Houses .

This creep sounds like a Castle tool. I hope O'Donnell beats the "third lady of Maine" like a rented mule.
Stan Redmond| 9.3.10 @ 5:39PM
"He has assured us that this will be the case."
WHEW! A liberal republican giving us his word he won't support more statist control over the country. That's a relief. I really have confidance especially after Stupak and his fellow abortionists stood their ground on the health care vote.
John DuBose| 9.4.10 @ 3:22PM
Shortly before the election, the Angle campaign will probably put out an ad explaining how everyone can thank Sen Reid for the health care bill. Goodbye Harry !!
