Uh oh. I thought Democratic spin doctors Pelosi and
Reid said that the health care bill would grow
ever more popular as people learned of all the wonderful
provisions. But that doesn't seem to be happening.
Oops! Sounds like an example of political malpractice.
Support for repeal of the health care reform bill is at its
highest level in over a month, while the number of voters who
believe repeal will be good for the economy has reached a new
high.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of
Likely Voters shows that 60% at least somewhat favor repeal of
the health care reform law, while 36% oppose repeal.
Those numbers include 50% who Strongly Favor repeal and 26% who
Strongly Oppose it. Platinum
Members can see
state-by-state results from across the country.
The number that favors repeal is up five points from
last week and is the highest level measured since July 1.
The number that Strongly Favors repeal also ties the highest
level ever - first measured in mid-April.
Overall support for repeal has ranged from 52% to 63% since the
law was passed by Congress in March.
What's a poor Democrat to do, with an election approaching
and the public still opposed to his or her biggest vote of the
session? I guess we will soon find out.
I tell you what the doctor will order come 2011:
A little dose of Senators Lugar, Graham, Collins, Snowe, Brown,
Castle (Senator to be), with a pinch of a few Blue Dogs (those
that survive). Repeal is dead even before it begins.

let them rinos walk the plank then...they will lose
primaries...barak will become a one man party of NO...democrats
have to defend 25 out of 33 senate seats in 2012 so republican
takeover is all but guaranteed...
let that rino run over pelosis cliff is what i say...
"democrats have to defend 25 out of 33 senate seats in 2012 so
republican takeover is all but guaranteed... " Seriously?
Democrats will probably lose some of their numbers, but does
anyone really think they will lose control of the senate?

I think that it IS wishful thinking at this point, but not
outside the realm of impossibility. There pretty much has to be a
clean sweep, but we're in a political climate where it may
actually happen.
I DO suspect the Dems may lose any semblance of a safe majority.

Check out the 25 Senators locations and get back to us. 2012 will
probably not be kind to liberal incumbants in either party
(Lugar, Schummer, Weber, are just a few). Of course, some Libs
are quite safe; I cannot imagine Rhode Island or Conneticut every
voting for a conservative. But then again, the GOP probably
thought the same in 1932 (Vermont was as conservative as Indiana
in those days). Look at Vermont now.

Gee, where are the liberal trolls like Liberal Reader to post
inanities about how Obamacare will give everybody in the US
fantastic care at a lower cost than those EVIL insurance
companies????
Huh. Who would have guessed that "no free lunch" means "no free
lunch?"
There goes reality again, intruding on liberal fantasies.
Of course some of them will continue to insist that two and two
make whatever they want it to make. But if it goes through, you
can bet that even the last of them will stop preening once they,
or a loved one, gets sick.

Don't worry about whether or not repeal is possible! Just don't
fund it (or the 15,000 extra IRS agents to enforce it). glenny

I would suspect that that 36% (ignorant 22 year olds who watch
nothing but MTV and a video game screen, and dyed in the blue
libtards who might still have jobs) will have their minds changed
for them when they realize their first tax bill come January,
when they sell their home after January 1 and have a 3.8% federal
tax they have to pay out of the minimal profit they may have,
and/or when the IRS starts garnishing their paychecks to pay the
fees imposed by Kathleen Sebelius and company for non-compliance
with the federal mandate that they run out and buy
insurance.
Watch that number rise to 95% by January 31, 2011.
Only an idiot-or an idiot who has no desire or will to support
himself would ever support such an abomination and attack on
individual rights, in formerly the greatest country on earth!
