LAS VEGAS -- A Netroots Nation speaker introducing Rep. Michelle Bachman's Democratic opponent joked about making the Minnesota representative wear "fishnets" like a Vegas cocktail waitress.

Laura Fanders, the host of Grittv, was introducing Bachmann's challenger, Tarryl Clark, when she said: "Another little update from the Right Online folks. Michelle Bachmann was there last night. Sen. Franken is gonna wrestle with her."

She went on to say that, "We'll make her wear those fishnets that they're wearing serving cocktails outside. That's the kind of Netroots we like."

REMEMBER NOVEMBER!!| 7.24.10 @ 11:31PM

Of course democrats make a big deal out of good looking women in our party; they don't have any on their god-forsaken, excrement laden side of the aisle.

Its about demeaning and dehumanizing the opposition. Its time to give the Democrat Left exactly what they deserve. They Lie!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just another Alinskyite ad hominum attack.
Alinsky rule #13---. "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Bachmann is too tough for these creeps. She is going to crush Clark.
What a woman!

More Liberal Trash Talk !

" The findings of the New York Times/CBS News Poll of Tea Party supporters augur well for the Republicans in November's midterm elections: the politically energized supra conservatives -- the one in five who are universally disaffected with national conditions, and with Barack Obama and with his policies -- are likely to be a strong advantage in the midterms, where typically fewer than four of 10 eligible citizens vote.

The boost that Tea Party supporters give Republican candidates may be especially decisive this year given how politically asleep the Democrats appear. In every poll the latter register as far less enthusiastic about voting than do Republicans generally, not to mention Tea Party adherents."

The Tea Party Rebellion Escalates .

We Can See November From Our Houses .

If a speaker at a conservative convention had said that she wanted to see Maxine Waters or Sheila Jackson Lee in "cornrows" serving watermelon slices, the mainstream media would have had a fit. I guess it's OK to demean a Republican female but not a black Democrat.

Missy| 7.25.10 @ 1:40PM

Imagine Elena Kagan or Janet Napolitano in fishnet stockings and stilettos! My eyes, my eyes!!

I guess in their eyes (the Netcrook's), being a cocktail waitress is a demeaning job. I guess they think that's insulting or something (actually holding a job), but I've know a few cocktail waitress's in my days, and they were all nice hardworking ladies. They can hold their head's held high, because cocktail waitress's jobs are a whole bunch of steps above the Democratic Party's favorites, the friggin' never have worked/never will work, never have paid/never will pay taxes, Welfare recipients.

Demean Cocktail Waitress's? But support Welfare recipients? Take a worker over a slacker? That's the Democratic Party for you!! I can't wait until November 3rd, so I can listen to the excuses they come up with, as to why they got their asses handed to them. It should be entertaining!!

Not so entertaianing, it will be called the racist vote.

The Netroots, like most liberlas and Progressives, live off the lagress of wealthy self-loathing trust fund babies, and later-day capitalists (who scoff at the society that enriched them). Once that gravy-train has left the station, these self styled post modernist marxists will be as hungry and desperate as the masses they despise.

These people consider themselves witty, hip, the really cool amongst we the members of the hog faced masses. They are banal, so tedious, contrived like everything else in our " popular culture ". Peace, happiness, harmony is to be forever untouched by the contamination of their thoughts, utterance, truths, mannerisms, all that they are-to render null and void every single output their silly, ugly lives produce and distribute via a media we can never escape. Get me out of Heartbeat City and to a place where the " noise electric " stops at least for a little while.
