Personally, in my years running companies in the oil/construction industry, I always had a problem with LA. I ALWAYS had the contracts negotiated under Texas law.
We snatched the equipment and materials out of there as quickly as possible. I'm sure you have heard the story of the decorative six-guns all along the Lake Charles bridge.
...heh, somebody's brother in law was overlooked in the pork train on the bridge...so he was given a contract to cast hundreds, (thousands?), of decorative six-guns. Have you seen them?

Having said all of that...Obama has declared war on the folks of Louisiana.

...and Texas...and Oklahoma. We understand that.

The poor bastard, (literally), doesn't understand just yet who he has taken on and what the consequences may very well be.

I KNOW...oilfield hands...and pipeline hands. On any given day they might decide..."screw 'em", and shut it all down.
Go into any oilfield or pipeliner "beerjoint" and listen in to the conversations; maybe even start one.

I believe everyone is right now simply holding their breath...waiting on November 2. I believe we are just that close to giving the communists, (pardon the shorthand), and the greenies...a foretaste of what they think they are pushing.

(ie: freezing in the dark...and very very hungry).

It truly is amazing how hateful Obama is. Even during the campaign, when most of us posting here knew how awful things would get with Obama as president, I could have never imagined what he's doing to Louisiana and Arizona. But, that's what happens when you bring Chicago thugs to D.C., and this is what it looks like.

Jeff Crouere's article literally hits the bullseye of this situation. Note also that Senator Vitter is accurately protesting this subversive moratorium by this extremely radical administration [and furthermore that neither Melancon nor Traylor's names were mentioned, but who would know or care if same happened since both are unrecognizable nationally]. My opinion goes further than Jeff's in that it would not surprise me in the least if some future investigation into the cause of the rig explosion indicated some type of SABOTAGE. After all NEVER LET A POLITICAL CRISIS GO TO WASTE, and better yet if same can be initiated/caused to one's benefit, right? Democrats have for decades attempted/succeeded in preventing oil drilling so as to soothe the ruffled feathers of their environmental wacko buddies that want to protect the spotted owl and the caribu from oil's devastation. Wow, golly, shazam, an oil rig explodes and what a great opportunity that represents from the eco-terrorists now running our country to impose a termned drilling moratorium, whcih can conveniently be extended into permanent status in the future by the same band of Chicago thugs that are attacking Arizona over illegal immigration and non-African Americans over voting rights. WAKE UP, PEOPLE AND RUN TO THE POLLS IN NOVEMBER!!!!
