Why would the Obama administration take on not only the state of
Arizona but the
majority of Americans? Perhaps increasing Hispanic voter
turnout is one possible explanation. Consider
this from the Washington Post yesterday:
One senior strategist, speaking candidly about his concerns on
the condition of anonymity, noted that white voters made up 79
percent of the 2006 midterm electorate, while they made up 74
percent of the 2008 vote. If the white percentage returns to
its 2006 level, that means there will be 3 million more white
voters than if it stayed at its 2008 levels. That scenario,
said the source, “would generate massive losses” for House and
Senate Democrats in November because of Obama’s standing with
that demographic.
To avoid such losses, the Democratic National Committee has
committed to spending tens of millions of dollars to re-create
(or come somewhere near re-creating) the 2008 election model,
in which Democrats relied heavily on higher-than-normal turnout
from young people and strong support from African American and
Hispanic voters.
Of course, re-creating the 2008 election model in a midterm
election where Obama himself is not on the ballot will likely
prove impossible. And tolerating illegal immigration is not a
good way to turn out black voters. But it might give you a window
into Democratic thinking on this issue.

Re-creating the 2008 election model will be a waste. Back then people believed and were excited in this smooth-talking newbie. Now everyone knows he is just another bad politician, a liar and a fraud. He has shown that he will not represent what the citizens of this country want. By suing AZ he has shown that he is a traitor to Americans, will not punish the millions of criminals who have entered our country illegally and cares more about illegals and Mexico. The blacks will support him blindly, just cause he's black (well, sort of). He has got to be the most UN-AMERICAN president ever. A good portion of America has seen this guy for what he is, a panderer to Hispanic advocates and unions, provider of more and more welfare to the poor, lazy and uneducated and a friend to all illegals. What has he lost? The support of a good majority of the electorate. The Dems will fall hard in November. I will never vote for anyone who will not support Americans, refuse to secure our Southern border, refuse to enforce our immigration laws and will allow another amnesty for millions of illegals. Deport the criminals and their disgusting politician supporters too !!

Well said Deke' I really don't think our country can survive another two tears of this wanna be and his administration.

He is still relying on undocumented Democrats to help him carry the day. We shall see. I believe legal aliens oppose amnesty strongly but we don't really hear from them very much in this debate. The only ones truly supporting amesty are statist types and their recipients because they know their gravy train will grow more and more.

You'd be absolutely STUNNED to know how many blacks and legal immigrants still support illegal immigration- refusing to understand the relationship between i.i. and why they're unemployed with close to no job prospects.
They support i.i. because after all it's all about sticking it to the man-

A large majority of white voters pulled the lever for Obama due to his being an intelligent African American, and to their desire to rid themselves of their undeserved guilt over the slavery issue of years past. If he would have just sat inside the oval office smiling and performed ribbon cutting type non-contraversial activities, his political longevity would nave been immence, but that is not who/hat he is. Sadly Americans did not understand his lifetime of radical associations and his background since birth. They now understand what they didn't on 11/4/08; and his sinking poll numbers are a reflection of same. America does not like what they are seeing coming from him and his fellow liberal Democrats. He's not like Clinton, and will not change when faced with the unpopularity of his agenda. He's a radical extremist who will continue stomping his liberalism foot on the political gas pedal not matter the consequences.

As long as we don't get any more self-serving republicans in office I'm ok with riding of Obama drama, as far as imigration goes, America's got to quit with the "land of the free" advertising!

Mr. Obama is thinking, "When I secure the position of Party Secretary, I will have already established that no mere state government has the clout or even the competency to contradict or anticipate my policies. Holder will have to be liquidated, of course . He makes so many waves! Barney is my man. He'll do anything for me, and that's more than I can say for Michelle."
