A new Gallup poll has found that 59 percent of Republicans or Republican leading voters say they are “more enthusiastic than usual” about voting this November, which is the highest ever recorded since they started asking in 1994. That year, when the GOP regained control of Congress, just 42 percent expressed similar enthusiasm. In 2006, when Democrats retook Congress, the number stood at 50 percent.

Enthusiasm my posterior! Tell that to Texas Congressman Joe Barton who was thrown under Oilbama's bus by the cowardly, spineless, stupid GOP "leadership" led by John Boehner & Eric Cantor. These spineless weasels told Barton to apologize for apologizing to BP for the Oilbama administration's shakedowns of big business or else lose his committee seat! I thought only the Leftocrats practiced this kind of stupidity. Every day the GOP "leadership" does something boneheaded to remind me why I stopped donating money to the RNC & the two Congressional committees. Trusting the GOP "leadership" to use my money to stop the insanity called Oilbama is no different than throwing my money into the fireplace. Idiots like Boehner & Cantor are proof positive of the statement, "You can't fix stupid!". Who needs leftist Democrats when the GOP "leadership" secure defeat before polling places open in November. I am sick & tired of having to choose between the extreme ends of the spectrum each & every election & I'm not talking about conservative & leftist. I'm talking about just plain evil (Leftocrats) & just plain spineless & stupid (GOP). If the GOP "leadership" of today were around in Revolutionary Times they would have apologized to King George for their commrades in arms wanting to be free of the King's oppression & taxes! The GOP does not deserve to be put back in charge of this country if they won't grow a set & back up their words & their members' words when they are correct as Congressman Barton was in this case. The Oilbama administration IS doing exactly what Congressman Barton described! Yet the GOP's "fearless leadership" don't back him up. They just want to get along with the left. The GOP DESERVE defeat because they won't replace their spineless "leadership" with proven leaders who want to do more than just get along with the current administration. They won't get my money & if they keep on stepping in it as Boehner & Cantor did in Congressman Barton's case they are in definite danger of losing my vote too. I'll write in GOD before I'll vote for anymore spineless, cowardly, stupid candidates thrown up by the current GOP "leadership". And for those who will reflexively say voting for anyone other than a Republican this coming election is a "wasted" vote, ANY vote for GOD is NOT a wasted vote! If every Republican voter did it maybe the spineless "leadership" would get the message!
