Jindal's Moment

I'm sure by now, many of you have seen this Drudge-linked ABC News report on the utter confusion in the federal response to the oil spill, to the point where the Coast Guard held up barges Gov. Bobby Jindal ordered with vacuums to suck up the oil. Meanwhile, Jindal's operation to dredge up sand and build artificial islands to capture the oil and protect the coastline is underway, after he fought to gain approval from the White House. It looks like we could be seeing a repeat of Katrina -- where Jindal is the one official who emerges with an improved reputation.

We should recall that Jindal was widely panned by the national media -- including me -- for his lackluster Republican response to President Obama's first speech to a joint session of Congress. But in this current crisis, I think we're seeing Jindal's strengths. While Obama is giving a rambling national speech in which he's talking about landing a man on the moon and our new energy future, Jindal is constantly coming up with ideas to at least mitigate the disaster at hand.

Wake up and take notice.

Actions speak louder than words. Jindal and the coastal parishes are proving the point.

THINK TOO F'N BIG! Bureaucracies and embedded Bureaucrats have always created chaos during national emergencys with their positions of power!

Everyone of the Bureaucrats think they are in charge and want to block everyone else from doing their job i.e. USCG refusing the LA Governor Bobby Jindal to bring in barges to suck the oil slick up into the barges, Corps of Engineers blocking the building of berms to protect the LA marshlands and more chaos.
Moreover, Obama is interested only in Obama! Who in bloody hell would play golf while the three states are losing THEIR WAY OF LIFE their way of life AND THE DESTRUCTION OF THE OIL INDUSTRY?! OBAMA!!!!!!!

Remember the narcissitict usurper and his cronies of corruption in November 2010!

I have been boating my entire life. I have to believe that those barges were targeted, either through malice, misplaced enforcement enthusiasm, or perhaps a desire to make Jindal look less effective. The Coast Guard doesn't generally do spot checks on boats and barges that are not obviously violating laws or regulations. You have a much greater chance of getting pulled over for a traffic violation in your car than you do of being boarded by the Coast Guard. I want to know who ordered the boarding of those barges. I also want to know why Jindal didn't call out the Army and Air National Guard. That would have been something to see. Coast Guard vs. Army and Air Guard. Oh well, maybe later.

Does Obama WAT to see the gulf disaster fixed? It counteracts the "drill baby drill" philosophy that would lead us to independence from arab (Muslim) oil. Surely that's not what he would wish upon his Islamic tutors in Hawaii and Kenya.

Obama increasingly ,is giving Americans the perception that he's deliberately tearing down our nation.

The Tea Party Rebellion Escalates.

Remember In November .

Tim - Remember in November? Why wait? Help your local GOP congressional candidate defeat a Democrat, and start immediately. If your local GOP candidate is already a guaranteed win (or lose), then adopt-a-district and go help a nearby candidate in a marginal district to pull it off. We MUST take back the House and shut down the 0bama agenda.
