WASHINGTON — Administration officials dangled the possibility
of a job for former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff last
year in hopes he would forego a challenge to Democratic Sen.
Michael Bennet, his rival in an Aug. 10 primary, administration
officials said Wednesday.
These officials declined to specify the job that was floated or
the name of the administration official who approached
Romanoff, and said no formal offer was ever made. They spoke on
condition of anonymity, saying they were not cleared to discuss
private conversations.
The episode follows a similar controversy in Pennsylvania,
where the White House last year turned to former President
Bill
Clinton to suggest Rep. Joe
Sestak back out of another primary in favor of an unpaid
position on a federal advisory board.

These Democraps are lyin' .
" As a sitting member of Congress, Sestak was not eligible for the job. And since the White House intended for Sestak to remain in his House seat, he would not have been eligible for the board after this November’s elections, provided he was re-elected to the House. "
Sestak is tryin' to Triangulate against his Conservative opponent Pat Toomey & The Democrat Establishment.
"Accountability " is his operative campaign word & this little opportunist thinks he can play both sides against the middle ,like Arlen Specter used to get away with playin'.
What about A Secretary Of The Navy offer and a chance to get back at Admiral Mullen ,who fired Sestak's keister ? Hmmmmm ?

Was this this part of the price for a "Yes" vote for ObamaCare?
