Watch for Children

Remember the following quote, among many gems I catalogued here, when you read this over at WUWT (or my take which originally unveiled the sorry hypocrisy, domestically, here, or of course here):

“We, in the green movement, aspire to a cultural model in which killing a forest will be considered more contemptible and more criminal than the sale of 6-year-old children to Asian brothels. ” -Carl Amery (German Greens)

That the Danes are now clearing a forest (and kicking Danes out of their homes) to put up giant windmills, that will never even be connected to a grid, must be rather confusing to the greens right about now.

There's no way to make sense of the mental illness that is liberalism. Lunatics are running the world, and I just want to stop it and get the hell off!

Reminds me of the pagan god Moloch who is appeased by child sacrifice by burning:
Tophet is Moloch, which was made of brass; and they heated him from his lower parts; and his hands being stretched out, and made hot, they put the child between his hands, and it was burnt; when it vehemently cried out; but the priests beat a drum, that the father might not hear the voice of his son, and his heart might not be moved.
