I like the line about needing policy based on facts as opposed to facts based on a policy agenda, but then it comes apart fast. The real message here is, don't argue the physics or we won't listen to your ideas about what needs to be done. Saying the physics indicates doing nothing is ruled out of bounds; the only permissible discussion is how much green authoritarianism to accept. Inevitably, that means as much authoritarianism as the greens want.
