So, a congressman says that climate science should be simplified to “Sixth Grade Level” because Americans “don’t get” it.
Possibly he is referring to that nice, insightful congressman from Georgia worried about islands tipping over during a global warming rant? Or the esteemed senator from Connecticut who said at a committee hearing in 2003 that 2002 turned out to be less warm than predicted because the economy slowed down? Or the senator from Rhode Island who said he knows it’s warming because his wife swims in the ocean and she’s sure she feels it? Or the guy in the same seat before him who said we know carbon dioxide is a problem because people asphyxiate in their garages every year?
That kind of not getting it? Good grief, is it November yet?

Science isn't the issue. Money and influence are. Rush has both, which makes him more trustworthy than scientists and politicos who are chasing both.

I don't recall Rush passing himself off as a scientist. But presumably like you Alan, he's able to observe, research, interpret and come to conclusions. Throw in the fact that he's a pretty bright guy with a great deal of common sense and you have a guy eminently qualified to discuss the matter on a fairly high level. That wasn't too hard to figure out, was it?

I don't know why they even need Cap n Tax any more, they all have to be making a mint in the market these days given that they are picking winners and losers rather than the free market.

From what I read, Global Warming Science is, at best, a second-grade class. It's all polar bears and ponies, with make believe villains and fairy tale heroes where, when you strip away the fantasy, the heroes are actually the villains.

For hundreds of years there was never any doubt whatsoever on the existence of the Medieval Warming Period. There was ample historical, anecdotal and climate data supporting this FACT.
Then along comes Michael Mann, a Phd scientist, with results that "show" this warming period NEVER EXISTED.
This is absolute proof positive that he lied, he is a fraud (and should be prosecuted), and that his study was a fraud. It also shows that the pseudo-religious AGW thesis is a lie and a hoax.
And now Lieberman and Kerry, the usual cabal of mult-millionaire, elitist liberal progressives want to shove down the throats of the citizenry more taxes and fees and costs and difficulties, purportedly to address AGW.
We need a new American Revolution.

Just listened to the garbage coming out of Nancy's ugly mouth telling the church officials to preach about immigration. What!! ?? I left the Catholic church just because of all of the double standards that are in the church now. It seems that a woman like Nancy who accepts abortion, lies on a daily basis and has caused so much hatred to be rekindled again, these are all SINS that apparently the church sees no wrong with her speaking. Disgusting people! JMO
