Arlen Specter now trails Joe Sestak by five points among Democratic primary voters in both the Rasmussen and Moring Call polls. Sestak is up by 0.6 percent in the Real Clear Politics polling average. Now he has another issue on which to hit Specter from the left: While still a Republican, Specter voted against Elena Kagan for solicitor general.

Coming this Fall: Arlen Specter, Independent.
He's too big for parties...

Roy| 5.10.10 @ 3:47PM

Now Specter will have to run as an independent. "For all you voters who think having a clue how your Senator is going to vote after you elect him is "extremist" and "partisan" - vote Specter!"

Spector and Crist can make Tee times together for early November now. We just got to find them, two more "dead man walking", to fill their foursome?

Spector is a scotish rights mason. He's doesn't report to any party....

…the $787 billion dollar non-stimulus stimulus bill when he realized he would be trounced in the Republican primary for it, may well end up trounced in the Democratic primary instead.  Right now, he’s down 5 points against his opponent Joe Sestak with only a week or so to go.  Furthermore, unlike the Maverick Pumpkin Charlie Crist, he can’t run as an indie due to Pennsylvania state law, so…

We have this kind of snippet to read because Rick Santorum and Bush the Young either had no brains, guts, or foresight to back a genuine conservative when they had a chance. I hope the factotums of the Stupid Party have the smarts to keep out of Toomey's way this time.

Specter has to spend down his campaign War Chest & starting tomorrow will run new campaign ads against Sestak , after Sestak spent down his campaign War Chest this past week.

We ,Tea Party Rebels are backing Real Conservative Pat Toomey & building his War Chest & Name Recognition.

We will clean the Democrats clock on April 2nd.

Pat Toomey is Pennsylvania's next Senator.

The Tea Party Rebellion Escalates.

We Will be there to :
Remember In November.

It's not all that easy Watching Arlen Specter or listening to him either.

DNT| 5.11.10 @ 10:55AM

Pennsylvania's petition requirements were too difficult for Specter to get on the ballot as an Independent, or he would have done that to start with. Now that he has been a major-party candidate in the primary, Specter is ineligible to run as an Independent in November, even if it were possible to get on the ballot. At long last, the Great Opportunist will have run out of opportunities.
