So what's the problem with using stimulus money to build a skatepark? Can anyone here tell me why you have a problem building a park for youth sports recreation? Seems like no one has a problem building baseball diamonds, soccer fields, or football stadiums. Heck, public monies are constantly being used to build private-sector, for-profit stadiums all over the country.....sweetheart, backroom deals between politicians and team owners. So what's the problem with using public money employing designers, surveyors, contractors, plumbers, landscapers, etc. to build a park?
