Well I think it's safe to say Rand Paul won't be supporting McConnell for leader. DeMint should just come out and endorse Rand now. According to Dave Wiegel over at the Washington Post he's been holding back his endorsement to maintain a good working relationship with McConnell.

McConnell's move won't matter much, here.

Rand Paul will enjoy endorsing Jim DeMint for Majority Leader, too, if the GOP runs the table this year.

The Old Right resurgence is grand to watch.

" Conservative South Carolina U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint has been mentioned as a challenger to McConnell for the Senate GOP leadership position. DeMint has not endorsed in the Kentucky primary but said Tuesday that he has not ruled out backing Paul and that “it’s no secret” that he thinks highly of Paul and his positions on the issues.

Western Kentucky University political science professor Scott Lasley said DeMint and Paul would have “a natural political alliance.”

Tea Party Rebels support Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina & the next Senator from Kentucky , Rand Paul.

The Tea Party Rebellion escalates.
