The Spectacle Blog

I've followed the career of extremist Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.) a long time but I can't say with certainty what she meant in her recent reference to the Supreme Court.

A longtime member of the socialist Congressional Progressive Caucus, the ornery old pinko seemed to be bashing the sole black member of the high court, Clarence Thomas.

Norton was quoted in The Hill saying President Obama will not pick a black judge to fill the seat of retiring Justice John Paul Stevens: "We're not sure this president is ever going to nominate another African-American to the court. [Barack Obama]'s African-American. We've got someone who proposes to be African-American on the court."

Perhaps Norton was searching for the word purports when she said proposes.

Fortunately, as representative of a non-state, Norton doesn't have a vote in Congress.

Let's hope it stays that way.

Doddering old fool is my vote. This silly broad has shown for decades that cognition is not her strong suit. Come to think of it, she reminds one of the old relative who just HAS to lecture on something that is totally irrelevant. Justice Thomas isn't on her plantation and Oooh, is she mad. Big deal.

I find it difficult to think about her without remembering a contest the WaPo did a few years ago, in which they sought the most inside-D.C. pickup line. The idea was to provide a pickup line which D.C. residents would get easily but most outsiders wouldn't understand at all.

The winner: "Your beauty renders me as powerless as D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton."

SCOTUS Justice Thomas and wife - Great CONSTITUTIONAL Americans.

Ms. Holmes Norton - no distant relation to Sherlock - is intemperately misguided about
blacks who choose Conservatism over Leftoid
allegiances from the experience of empirical awakenings.

Give her some carrots and put her out to pasture.

Dittos, amigo. Let me point out that Norton was once a young fool, chose to learn nothing that might cause her to question her youthful prejudices, ignored all evidence that demostrated her beliefs to be flawed, and then graduated to the status of doddering old fool.
There's no doddering old fool like a an old, hidebound, pinko fool.

Eleanor Norton Holmes. Isn't she the one who looks like the nice old school teacher? Until she opens her mouth.

Norton and her fellow liberal domestic terrorists friends through academia and government would only be interested in nominating an African American SC candidate who pledged under oath to institute, promote and defend [in STEP-AND-FETCH-IT FASHION] the liberal/progressive/subversive agenda of the Democratic Party!!!!
