It’s no “Demon Sheep” but this John McCain web ad mocking J.D. Hayworth is pretty funny. I do wonder, however, whether it might not backfire by making conservatives feel that they, and not just Hayworth, are the butt of the joke. (Hat tip: Daniel Foster at The Corner.)

McCain should be very careful about the implications in this ad. Hayworth's 'marrying a horse' resonates with heterosexual voters that are fed up with this gay rights BS; and also believe that THE CHOSEN ONE was possibly not born in the US [and that he should present his actual birth certificate, college transcripts,etc]. As to Hayworth not possibly being the brightest bulb in the box, I'd suggest that John McCain should look in the mirror on this issue------his not allowing Sarah Palin's staff to aggressively confront the truth of who/what Obama truly is in the 2008 campaign resulted in a loss for McCain and the Republicans and the election of OBAMA [so who is the dummie, now?]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Given the disgusting content of this ad, and the way it strikes at the heart of JD Hayworth-right to the quick, I am left to wonder-WHERE WAS JUAN MCCAIN WHEN WE WERE FIGHTING FOR THE LIFE OF AMERICA-WHEN HE ALLOWED A KENYAN NATIONAL TO BE ELECTED PRESIDENT?
This is more example of Juan McCain fighting for the left. He is not a RINO-he is just a DEMOCRAT-and HE MUST BE BEATEN IN NOVEMBER.

McCain is INSANE.
This is a hilarious mockery of an attack ad which is certain to backfire.
For example, if McCain is the political opposition, he must be implying that he is for man/horse marriage and keeping Obama birthplace secret.
If McCain keeps putting out similar ads the white-coated hospital orderlies will chasing him through the halls of Congress with butterfly nets.
This ad is even funnier than the “Demon Sheep Ad”.

McCain began running negative attack ads in Arizona even BEFORE Hayworth announced. The McCain campaign is simply put, despicable. No honorable man would conduct or approve such a campaign.

Sure McCain wants, and expects to win, but once again we see him reserve his scorn, mocking and passion to be directed at members of his own party much more strongly than against those who should be his true opposition. When will people learn that they've been "had"?
