The Republican Party leads on nine of ten issues. The
GOP’s top score comes on health care.
According to Rasmussen Reports:
Voters now trust Republicans more than Democrats on nine out of
10 key issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports, but the
gap between the two parties has grown narrower on several of
them.
Following the passage of the health care bill, 53% now say they
trust Republicans on the issue of health care. Thirty-seven
percent (37%) place their trust in Democrats. A
month earlier, the two parties were essentially even on the
health care issue.
These results are consistent with the finding that
54% of voters want the health care bill repealed. Rasmussen
Reports is tracking support for repeal on a weekly basis.
Still, health care ranks just number five among voters on the
list of 10 important issues. The economy remains the top
issue of voter concern as it has been for over years.
It’s an impressive lead which even the Stupid Party might
have a hard time squandering!

Don't count them out too quickly. They're worse than Stupid! (I say that as a long-time Republican.)

What is giving the opposition to the Left Democrat agenda is anger--anger that being treated as Serfs or peasants by an elite group--mostly by "democrat" Left and RINOS. Here is something to l\keep in mind of fuel more anger which means motivation to vote--the key to winning.
The Democrat left and their controlled MSM will try every single trick in the book towards fraudulent behavior and disruption including physical violence and threats thereof. They will in certain places use intimidation. They will plant lies and hit pieces, they will do fraudulent . Just look at the behavior of BHO,his puppets and in the MSM registrations in regards to Tea Party dem0nstrations. It is the voter that needs to be motivated most of all.!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree. The Democratic party didn't get to be the majority by being stupid. The sad fact is that the vast majority of voters are of the "Ooohhhh. Look at the pretty sparkling light!" variety, who will fall for any distraction just before the election. The Dems don't have to fool all the people all the time (and they know they can't)....they just have to fool ENOUGH of the people at ELECTION time....and they seem to be able to do that. We need to keep the pressure on, keep the issues near the front of voters minds, and STOP DOING STUPID THINGS OURSELVES (yes, I am looking at you, RNC and "Birthers"....any careless zealous actions you do may give the Dems ammo to label the Right as extreme and out-of-touch whackos....so just stop being stupid. Please.
The Dems have handed us an opportunity to win back the country and potentially undo the damage. Let us not BLOW it, please!

So, why are you happy with these results Bandow? You're one of the Lefty Libertarians who mercilessly bashed Bush, Palin and Republicans in 2006 and 2008 ensuring the defeat of numerous good libertarian Republicans running for Congress in those election cycles.
Your description of the Republican Party as "The Stupid Party," gives you away.
Here's a suggestion. Go back to your pals at Daily Kos and Moveon.org, and stop pretending like your some sort of "friend of the Right." You're not. You're worse than those DailyKosers, cause at least their honest about hating America.

I don't know about that...

Actually its not about the republican party-its about the voter. And this time voters do not like these incumbents. It will most crucial--beyond any act one has ever made to vote, and when possible --to get others to do likewise. Sitting a home, complaining, annoyed that you did not have the best candidate or whatever--this is not acceptable if you want to change the direction of the country. Polls are great but in the end--its the election that counts to practice using your finger to say NO. The reality today is that you have two choice R or D. Its vote R for NO.
