The End of the World

The end is nigh.  Germans are growing less concerned about global warming.  What’s next?  A revival of concern for individual liberty and limited government?

Reports Fox.com:

Germans citizens are rapidly losing faith in global warming following the Climate-gate scandals, according to a new report in Der Spiegel.

The report indicates that just 42 percent of Germans are worried about global warming, down substantially from the 62 percent that expressed concern with the state of the environment in 2006.

German news site The Local analyzed the results from the poll, conducted by polling company Infratest for the German newsmagazine. Many people have little faith in the information and prognosis of climate researchers, The Local explained, with a third questioned in the survey not giving them much credence.

This is thought to be largely due to mistakes and exaggerations recently discovered in a report of the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said the site.

It’s frustrating being a climate alarmist today.  The media and most governments have bought your propaganda, but the people still don’t believe you.  Indeed, you’re losing public support.  And you’ve run out of big awards to give Al Gore!

What about an Oscar for comedy?

South Park will probably come up with something. I am reminded of their episode with Randy's turd (measured in courics, after Katie), in which he won an award. Al Gore's work seems about as meaningful.

In case you don't know, guys . . . the measurement standards have been changed since Stan's dad hit the record. Because of the Democrat congress, turds have become much larger and more dense. They are now measured in Bidens AND Courics. One Biden equals 25 Courics. The largest turd so far is the Demcrats Health Care Turd, weighing in at 7 Bidens, 20 Courics, delivered by Nancy Pelosi.

It's a beautiful day here in South Park - to get the picture of Pelosi delivering that turd to Obama, I'm going for a walk. A long, long walk.

P.S. Don't even try to follow me. You'll have to find your own way of getting that image out of your head. For me it's Cheesy Poofs and shooting squirrels with Jimbo.

Oh, to answer Becky - Al Gor'es work is measured in separate pieces. For example, his Earth in the Balance i 5 Bidens even. An Inconvenient Truth is 7 Bidens, 10 Courics - almost as much as Obamacare. Al Gore's work as a whole has never been measured. It's just too big. The European Fecal Standards and Measurements (EFSM) is ccurrently working to come up with a standard big enough to encompass Al Gore's crapitude.

The Germans must have a cool sounding word or phrase for Global Warming...

Looks like Europe is having a fire sale on socialism... and here come the comfortably numb American tourists looking for a few bargains. "Hmmm... these may look good around our necks, whaddya think?"
