American voters trust the average Tea Partier more than they do Nancy Pelosi and her congressional cohorts. Hopefully, she won’t shed too many tears over that fact.

From Rasmussen Reports:

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 52% of U.S. voters believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress. Only 30% believe that those in Congress have a better understanding of the key issues facing the nation.
When it comes to those issues, 47% think that their own political views are closer to those of the average Tea Party member than to the views of the average member of Congress. On this point, 26% feel closer to Congress.
Finally, 46% of voters say that the average Tea Party member is more ethical than the average member of Congress. Twenty-seven percent (27%) say that the average member of Congress is more ethical.

Granted, it’s easy to have a higher approval rating than Congress, which usually hovers in the single digits, or about what my IRA has earned since Obama took office. Even so, it’s ironic that voters trust those supposedly right-wing extremists in the street far more than the corrupt pols in Congress.

Harumph!

Well they should. "They are us"...except they might not go to the meetings.

It has been widely reported that liberal members of the democrat party have viciously attacked members of the Tea Party movement and used language that is inappropriate.

This weekend, it was reported, Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), a well known racist, spat on a Tea Party activist. His racist colleague, Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), was heard calling Tea Partiers the "H" word (rhymes with "tonky".) Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY, and well-known racist) was seen picking the pockets of the activists.

Lickspittles in the MSM, like Chris Matthews, were quick to point out that the liberals were provoked by the Tea Partiers by their use of words like "target" and "reload." Matthews had to be given IV's, as he dehydrated himself with his saliva-scattering tirade.

These racist attacks, by liberal democrats, must stop, before someone really gets hurt!

Here is a reminder of how the left was in opposition.

Truth to Power,

Wow!
I hadn't seen many of those. Thanks for the link.

I hope someone from Beck's show, or O'Reilly, or Hannity sees your link, and airs it on their show.

The only credible argument a stinking liberal could make in defense, is that liberals are known liars and girly-men, so GWB had nothing to fear. (Lee Harvey Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan, being the exceptions to the rule, of course.)

Who are the real haters? Disgusting liberals and their disgusting hatred.

Moron in the first pic misspelled 'their'. Tool.

All of that violence Nanzi was whining about was LIBERAL violence! Nothing has changed.

I am not surprised to hear of the results of this poll.Rasmussen I think is an accurate pollster. he called the 2008 election well. He was honest about seeing the truth more so than many others.
But I also think it is time to consider libel action against those in the Democrat establishment who slander. and libel if that is possible.

Another thought is a boycott of MSM TV for short periods of time.
Could you not do without any TV for a day ? or even a week ?
Weather, traffic and other basic stuff can be gotten on the radio or the web. I think that money is the only thing that talks to these folks on the networks and cable. The Dems have the advantage of the MSM, but consider sticking it to them in the pocket book.
