Quit falling into the liberals trap of DEFENDING conservatives and the tea party movement [since they DO NOT need to be defended]. The historical EXTREMISTS are the liberals that destroy property, create mass riots, defame and slander people and organizations who do not agree with their extremist views/actions,etc. Quit backing up and become more aggressive toward the extremism of liberalism. Challange them and debate them in their use of one word arguments [ie racism, homophobism,etc] that camoflage and disguise their points of view. Cancel your newspaper subscriptions and do not watch network TV shows that subversively promote their ideas/views,etc. Most of all VOTE for conservatives that will represent the people [and not Pilosi, Reid and Obama] starting in November. As I heard the good John McIntyre (sp?) said today on the radio, we need to get back to what we were (I'm paraphrasing) as the Reagan conservative Republicans. THAT is how we WIN, folks! NOT by being timid or conciliatory. We are doing that now and it is represented in the tea parties movement. We are peaceful but angry, and there is NOTHING wrong with being angry. We are using that anger to ACT constructively. We will be repealing all Democrats in November.

But I won't shirk my duty as you have yours. As a fellow citizen, I need to advise you to get yourself to a good, publicly funded LIBRARY and educate yourself about Hitler and fascism. I think you are probably capable -- with the instruction that you clearly have not yet received -- of learning the difference between Hitler and a liberal American Democrat. That much can be expected even of you, if I'm not mistaken. Stop depending upon television and foolish talk radio show hosts as your sole sources of information about the world. To be self-governing, a people needs to be properly educated, or they are just a filthy mob. And once you learn a little about the world, you'll be able to understand yourself better. That's a promise. But you won't get this knowledge through passive reception of electronic transmissions: you will have to do a little work. The work gets easier with time, and if you don't break under the burden, you might find you enjoy it.

The contortions of logic and erasures of American history required to write what you people write is truly astounding. I'm surprised you don't hurt yourselves in executing these rhetorical acrobatics.
As you would have learned had you been educated in post-war American history, the identities of the two major parties with respect to race issues changed dramatically in the 50s, 60s, and 70s.
To be sure, SOUTHERN Democrats were pro-segregation and often extremely racist. Most northern and midwestern Democrats (e.g. Truman, the Kennedy's) were more liberal on these issues.
Most Republicans, who enjoyed little support in the south, were more liberal on these issues as well. Certainly northeastern Republicans were more enthusiastic supporters of desegregation than many southern Democrats. (Although there were, in fact, many southern Democrats who changed radically in these years. MLK's movement changed hearts in minds all over the country. LBJ is a good example, but there are others.)
Now, as civil rights legislation passed, racist Democrats in the south FLED the Democratic party and immigrated to the REPUBLICAN party, who welcomed them with open arms.
This was the birth of what historians now call THE SOUTHERN STRATEGY, which was a deliberate and strategic and planned appeal to southern racists.
Beginning in the early 60s, Republicans throughout the south began to run and WIN on what were essentially racist platforms.
Concurrently, the Democratic party was absorbing blacks -- who in honor of Lincoln and in contempt for Dixiecrats had traditionally registered as Republicans (in those states they were permitted the vote!) -- and growing more and more LIBERAL on race issues, that is, more and more committed to the full agenda of civil rights legislation, which was enshrined in the two great acts of 64 and 65 by a DEMOCRATIC Congress and a DEMOCRATIC president.
Nixon was the first Republican to use the southern strategy to win the presidency, and the rest is history.
So it is true that BEFORE the civil rights movement the Democratic party was home to many racists, during and after that movement those racists fled to YOUR PARTY.
You benefit from their votes, you profit from their contributions, you cater to them, you blow the dog whistles for them. They're YOURS, and you can keep them, their Confederate flags, their racist view of American history, and all the fleas and ticks they shed on your clothes. You lie down with dogs.

And about responding to the useful idiots here? I was stuck at home sick yesterday, so I had nothing better to do, than to spar with them. I don't take them as seriously as I may sound like I do, it's just kind of fun to screw with them. Life's too short to hate them, I just feel sorry for them. They need a Government Daddy, I like making, and living with my own decisions. Even if it means, coming close to, but never breaking 100!! Liberal suck!! And so does Golf!!

I hope I catch you before you head out. I can hand you six points off your score...with a wonderful trick my scratch-golf brother taught me:
Squat down behind your ball on every putt...set your putter head (putter extended horizontally pointing at the hole).....pull your cap bill down so that you can only see as far as the putter head...set that putter head-face absolutely vertical.........and gradually lift your head and study the ground foot by foot to the hole.
The line to the hole will almost magically appear. Then all you gotta do is roll the ball down that line.
Give me a feedback...It is amazing.
One other plan...think bogie off the T-box. Takes all the strain and too-hard swings off.

Ken: Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a shot, but I got to tell you, my game is very unique, with the word unique not being a good description. I taught myself how to play (20+ years ago), and obviously, I never really watched golf before I started playing, because I don't play it like anybody else does. Many times, the people I'm playing with will watch my swing, and ask me if I'm alright, or if I hurt my back? And my putting, although it's probably the strongest part of my game, it looks like I'm suffering from cerebral palsy, or something? Hell, Happy Gilmore laughs at my putting. My golf goal though is, to get my game down to just three clubs, a 4-wood, a double faced chipper, and a putter. Currently, I'm down to four clubs (I'm still using my pitching wedge on occasions), and my score really hasn't improved, nor has it gotten any worse. But at least my decision making process is easier!! My only problem around here, being in the Army, is getting the rest of my foursome to wake up before noon to go play golf. You know soldiers? When the weekend comes around, they like to let off some steam (alright, they let off a lot of steam!!), but they're impossible to make Tee times with. Right now? I'm waiting for them to return my calls, to see if they're going to make it or not. Nothing is easy Ken, nothing!!

I primarily use a "lady's" Driver for T-shots...(shorter shaft, hugundous face), a seven iron, and my sand-wedge and putter.
My wife taught me to play. "arch your back, knnock your knees to keep your butt still, and just toss it down the fairway swing-thought." I watched her do those things. She is so boring boring boring down the middle. (mid 80s consistently. She has a bad eye-no binocular vision.
When I show her the putting line...mid seventies.
Beginning my first round at age 55 it got me down to 90 after the putting trick.
