Out of Control

From (Democrat) Representative Dingell's lips to your ears: (here).

Yes. Sadly, it does "take a long time to do the necessary administrative steps ... that have to be taken... to control the people."

"I am convinced our nation is a healthier one today," Representative Dingell said at the signing of this bill into law. I disagree with him. I'm convinced it's not healthier today.

Many have long said that this health care plan was never about health care at all. Mr. Dingell has confirmed that.

Control the people.

That is not why the huddled masses yearning to breathe free left the oppression of Europe -- to be controlled. Control is not an American principle. It is, in fact, anathema to American principles-- and so is anyone who believes it.

Dingell and his bros are treasonous bastards. They are subverting our constitution that people have died to protect. Time for action and overthrowing these contemptable thugs is near.

So true! When they failed to impeach the US SC after violating the Constitution to install Bush in 2000, and again when they didn't impeach for after they violated over a Century of rulings against corporate influence in political campaigns, the Democrats in Congress failed, committing dereliction of duty, and should be removed.

JohnD| 3.24.10 @ 12:52PM

The USSC was correct to enforce the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution, and to vindicate the First Amendment's protection of freedom of speech. They ruled based on the Constitution, and di their job in both cases admirably.

Jon B| 3.24.10 @ 2:04PM

The US SC arbitrarily created a deadline (12-12) that does not exist in law anywhere, to stop counting legal votes. Uncounted legal votes have ZERO value. Counted legal votes have FULL value. The US SC gave UNEQUAL protection of the votes since they picked and chose which set of legal votes they wanted to count, thereby violated the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment.

They gave different value to one set of votes as compared to another set of votes. They should've been impeached and removed for this. This just shows you how corrupt Congress had already become by then.

Pay no attention to Jon B, folks.

He peddles lies and marxist propaganda. Oops! Redundant.

Like the lie that President Reagan gave the Soviets $425 billion.

After 3 days of trying to belittle those of us who called him out on his lie, he finally admitted his fabrication.

Although, he then claimed it was a mistake That it was actually $425 million, but he offered no source. Just his deeply flawed memories.

And so? The Republicans have no plan to effectively stop this. Steele & Co. are as inept as a neutered octogenarian in a Nevada whorehouse with no Viagra.

When have they actually tried to educate people on what Obama is trying to do, or what this will cost the country, or holding Detroit and California up and asking "Is this what you want?" Seems to me the Stupid Party is relying on the Tea Party to pull them over the line in November and then quickly forget about them.

They have turds like J.D. Hayworth running against Grumpy. Where are the smart, tough, principled Conservatives and when are they going to start bringing guns to the gun fight.

Warrior| 3.24.10 @ 11:43AM

Amen brother. There are no rules for the left. I get disgusted seeing McConnell and the rest stand there looking like they just found out Nickelodeon cancelled the Rugrats.

...as if you were in a Coma from 1-2001 to 1-2009.

I always love it when people start arguing among party lines. As if there were more than just one party. There is only the Corporate/Banker party. If you think differently, then note how none of the egregious assaults against liberty instituted by Bush have been over-ruled. In fact, they have been expanded. All done on the back of racist fear of brown people. What a bunch of sheeple. Not what I was fighting for, nope. I despise stupid cowards.

Jon B| 3.24.10 @ 12:02PM

Excellent point, Jim.
I wonder if they'll attack you for it.

Rank and File| 3.24.10 @ 2:50PM

"On the back of racist fear of brown people?"

Back that up. Your making trite racist charges does nothing to disavow the statements by Congressman Dingell. That must mean you're fine with them. You want to be controlled? Perhaps you'd rather a philosopher king came in and put your thinking right? Well, you've got one.

As for "racist fear of brown people," you would be wise to remember that Lincoln, a Republican, spoke the Emancipation Proclamation. Democrats held up Civil Rights legislation in '64. It passed only because a greater percentage of Republicans (the party NOT controlling the committees and the Congress at the time) voted for it than Democrats. Look it up. Democrats filibustered. Democrats stonewalled. There's your party of civil rights. Democrats have claimed to carry the flag for civil rights since time immemorial, yet look at the plight of the inner cities. Look at education in the inner cities. Proud of that? Congress has had money pouring into education. Still, nothing to be proud of. Look at Detroit, Representative Dingell's crown jewel of a city. You think 10% unemployment is bad, how about 20 to 25% unemployment. That's what "control" does. Democrats. Who has been running the inner cities for decades? You imply that the Corporate/Banking party is Republican. Google, Apple, Microsoft... some of the largest corporations in the world. Republicans? No, not Republicans. But perhaps you want to "control" the way corporations give money. You want to tell them who they can contribute to, or what causes to support? You want to do the same with unions? That's fascism. Another product of the Left.

Dingell's comments are contrary to everything this Country was founded upon. Yours are just wrong. But, by all means, continue. I wouldn't have you muted. I want your words to embarrass you -- someday.

Jane| 3.24.10 @ 12:16PM

Jay D. Hayworth is a turd? Then why don't you run for office you genius? Perhaps YOU would be good enough, PRINCIPLED enough?
Go for it, Cartman.

Greg| 3.24.10 @ 12:52PM

The Dems are just worse versions of the Reps. They are all still part of the political class that plays games with our lives and resources. Games that require us to be kept at bay under the weight of supporting their massive bureaucracies and reckless spending habits. To do that, they divide us and conquer us through their rhetoric and policies. When will we the people, refuse to remain pawns in the game and band together as independents, voting for and holding accountable, true representatives from among us. The political class is well funded and entrenched, so it won't be easy. But it must be done. We are beginning to sprint down the path to becoming "America in name only."

Welcome to the new dawn of the USSA.

Everly Waverly| 3.24.10 @ 1:15PM

How well has Michigan been working with all that democrat/leftist, union leadership? Detroit is becoming a ghost town, all under Dingell, Jenny Granholm and the incompetent democrats. You can bet this is what's in store for America...

Rally ' Round the Flag| 3.24.10 @ 10:02PM

America needs to wake up..! Look at the group behind the curtains. Unfortunately, many Republicans and Democrats are on board with
the New World Order. The North American Union is coming soon; same scenario as the E.U.
Our sovereignty is in immortal danger.

Missy| 3.24.10 @ 10:15PM

I think you mean mortal danger.
