I'm reading through House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's final "manager's amendment," and this part jumped out at me:
Page 88, line 1, strike ‘‘MEDICARE TAX’’ and insert ‘‘UNEARNED INCOME MEDICARE CONTRIBUTION’’.

Since when did taxes become contributions? Normally when I contribute something to a plan I expect to get something back later. There can be no expectation of ever getting anything of substance back from Medicare especially for someone with unearned income.

Just remember bama said no tax increase on anybody making under 250,000, now I wonder how many of the folks making less than that will be paying 3.8% of their UNEARNED income to bama, Look out there will be more. He lied again, stay tuned more to come..
