Well.... We're also hearing reports about "Tea Partiers" spitting on law makers and using foul racist language.

As for the "tea bagger slur," I distinctly remember people supporting tea parties calling THEMSELVES tea baggers before the other meaning of that term became public.

Personally, I did not know the vulgar meaning of "tea bagging" before any of this occurred, and I imagine the people using that term didn't either.

Nevertheless, this isn't a crowd I feel particularly sorry for when it comes to abusive language. They are pretty free with it themselves.

I think -- myself included -- we'd all do better to speak more kindly about one another, no matter how much we disagree. A free society depends upon vigorous but respectful political discourse. I still dissent from those on the left who claim Bush "lied" about the Iraq War, which I think not true and also extremely toxic as a rhetorical ploy. I suppose those of us who are on the left would prefer not to be called communists and Nazis, but depend upon it: I'm not holding my breath.

Looking at the video of the Black Caucus walking through the Tea Party Group, there were at least for aides walking with cell phones open videoing the walk, where is the video of the spitting and the racial slurs?
