Rep. Bart Stupak said that Democrats have peeled off half of the dozen members he claimed had been standing with him to oppose any bill that includes taxpayer funding for abortion. The situation is fluid, but it's unlikely that would be enough to kill the bill.

Professional Teacher Education appears to be a myth. There is no standard curriculum, no movement to even try to identify Best Practices. Teachers are being held accountable when it appears that Professors, Learned Societies and universities are the culprits. What do you think?
