Gibbs Dodges on Levin Suit

Asked about Mark Levin's vow of a looming lawsuit against the "Slaughter Rule" -- the violation of the Constitution being pushed by Capitol Hill Democrats that would enable the "deem-and-pass" convolution -- White House press secretary Robert Gibbs immediately backed off topic today, mumbling about hypotheticals.

Earlier, Gibbs confessed that he, Gibbs, wouldn't have gotten through the first semester of law school. Clearly, Gibbs is aware that Levin, a former chief of staff to a U.S. Attorney General, author of two bestselling books on the judiciary and the Constitution, as well as president of the Landmark Legal presentation …ahhhh…did a bit more than that.

Levin has clearly made an impression in his old haunts. Somewhere Ronald Reagan is laughing.

Tough day, Robert?

I was thinking if the Dem's want to save money on heathcare they should put a rule in that states: Mandatory drug testing will be done to all who apply. And no health care will be provided if drugs are found.A 90 day test for drugs will be done again and if drugs are found again a automatic 30 day drug rehab would be required to be able to apply again. Hey and why their at it lets do it for welfare don't you think we would save some money!

I've got another idea. If a child is presented with wounds which could be child abuse, call in CPS and make Mom and Dad pay thousands to get the child released back into their custody. That will save on all those child abuse bills.

Maybe add a tax to each bottle of alcohol or Twinkies.

How about mandating airbags in cars so we wouldn't have to wear seatbelts. Then we can have Click-it or Ticket campaigns to bring revenue to cities all in the name of keeping us safe.

These are just those I could think of before breakfast. I'm sure there are more if we just put our thinking caps on.

I fully agree. I am in the trucking business and all driver have to be random drug tested . All that get welfare or assistance should have to be tested.
