One of Washington's more plugged and astute sources has pointed
out an interesting detail over at the Holder Justice
Department.
There is no Deputy Attorney General.
David Ogden, a prominent Washington lawyer, filled the job
for less than a year. He left on February 5,having announced his departure on December 3. That gave the
White House and Holder two full months to start moving on a
successorand to begin the inevitable
clearance/confirmation process. Yet six weeks since Ogden's
departure that still seems not to be happening.
The source raises the obvious question: Why?
Is it because bit by bit, from the detainee issue to the
idea of trying KSM in New York to the very latest routine of
eye-closing at the Sestak allegation of a White House
jobs-for-favors scandal -- Mr. Holder is making himself so
radioactive at Justice that he himself is edging closer to being
removed? Because he's an unsustainable political burden for the
president? In a year when one more political woe on top of health
care and the economy is the last thing Obamaites and Democrats on
the Hill want to carry around with them, this is not something
they need.
So the Deputy AG spot remains empty. Because, goes the
theory, the search is already on for a possible Holder
replacement. Who in turn will want a say in his or her
deputy.
As the saying once went: Verrrrrrrrrrrrrry
Interesting.
Nah, his removal would solve nothing, since his replacement would
be the same or worse. The one and only solution for Americans
lies with the November elections of both 2010 and 2012 [that way,
we get 'TWO-FER' !!!!!

Holder has been completely true to his pedigree: pardoner of
Puerto Rican terrorists, Castro's lawyer in the Elian Gonzalez
case, hiring 9 Gitmo lawyers for DOJ ( who illegally gave
damaging information to terrorists so they can claim "torture"
and also identifying the Gitmo and CIA personnel for terrorist
retribution). Holder is a dedicated communist and therefore
indispensible to Abu Hussein's aims.

Mr. Jeric,
And recommending the pardon of Marc Rich.

Holder will be recycled like Van Jones; still in the system, just
under the radar screen.

No deputy makes it harder to fire Holder, no continuity of
command.

Agreed that Holder's replacement would be more of the same, but
throwing him under the bus before the mid terms might help avoid
the inevitable subpoenas and nasty House investigations that
would fall upon him and his after the mid term House loss to the
Republicans.
Also Holder may start losing his protectors in the MSM before the
mid-terms so the clock is ticking . It would be best to dump him
during the Spring break on some late Friday. They are going to
need some better brain power to handle the upcoming law suits
anyway.

not impressed by any of the democrats I see. Dumbtards.

I sure hope not. I want Holder around Obama's neck like an albatross. Let him be attorney general forever in this administration.
