Black Panthers, Red County

Red County has a GREAT post up about the voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party, with great analysis of what it means. As writer Bryan Myrick notes, dropping cases like this is hardly the way to create a post-racial America. (Oh -- and do follow Myrick's internal links to the Washington Times, like this one.)

I really don't understand why [and how] intelligent individuals can be SURPRISED at this occurance. It is no different than the Air Force fuel tanker federal award being eventually granted to Boeing [and correspondingly eliminating/excluding Northrup/EADS]. By becoming surprised at these political happenings, one assumes that the players are normal, rational, ordinary politicians [which they are not]; and to assume so is unintelligent and naive. What is present with these situations are a group of terrorist-politicians who do not care about the distinctions between right and wrong. With them, the end justifies the means; and the end for these people are their favored classes respectively!!!!
