President Obama has appointed Andy Stern, chairman of the Service Employees International Union, to serve on the fiscal commision, another example of the administration’s efforts to reward its allies in big labor.
Ivan Osorio had a detailed profile on Stern’s growing power in Washington in the December issue of Labor Watch.

Stern's appointment is a joke; it is just further evidence that Obama's "commission" is simply political cover for imposing higher job-killing taxes. They have no intention of recommending anything else, especially since Stern is going to try to use his stroke to get more "stimulus" (oh, I mean "jobs") money for his union membership on the state, local, and federal level.

our government with Stern in this position is more evidence that our government is further going down the road of union labor control and socialism. Liquidate GM enforce payback of taxpayer bailout and stop supporting unions.

Not only that, but Obama/Democrats are in the process of passing legislation that would give federal contract only to BIG contractors bidding for government work. BIG means including UNIONIZED employees [which means exorbatant costs'expenses to government, which means additional taxes paid by taxpayers to pay for said increases in governmental costs]. WAKE UP, AMERICA!!!!

Interesting listening to Aaron Klein on the radio this morning talking about how in the 90's Obama was a member of "The New Party." A party used to bring in Communist believers. The Supreme Court ended it. Something about subverting the system.
He was also talking about how Cass Sunstein actually wrote that something like the great depression is a great time to usher in Socialism. Of course, those of us who study the Communists, Socialists, et al already knew this.
