This guy just can’t leave bad enough alone.

Washington Times story here.

President Obama kicks off what might be called his “Save the Senate” tour this week, heading west to campaign for two embattled Democrats trailing badly against Republican challengers — including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada.

His wake is unmistakable: New Jersey, Virginia, Massachusetts. Now he wants to widen it into Nevada and Colorado. Is that wise for the Democrats?

Obama is no longer the Teflon-Don of 2008, but has become an un-made man, exposed for his unpopular agenda: government health care, massive spending, and a teetering economy. These policies have found as much favor with the Obama administration, and more specifically Obama, as they have dis-favor with Americans.

Yet, I suppose a man of such ideology cannot be bogged down by political pragmatism.

And as long as he keeps a blind ear and eye to the public’s fatigue with his big spending plans, it’s likely he’ll rile the grass roots and the stir up the voting blocs — of the Republicans.

So maybe this is a tour I can get behind.

Save the Senate, indeed.

What people fail to understand about Opie the groovy fake President, is that he is a MARXIST.
Marxists do not compromise.
For example. If any of you have the illusion or delusion that Obama will accept ANYTHING without THE public option. You need to put your crack pipe down.
THE PUBLIC OPTION is the ONLY THING Obama wants.

Grzmlyk| 2.16.10 @ 2:24PM

And, as many a pundit has pointed out, pretty much anything they can pass will lead inexorably to the public option that is the putative jewel in Obama's putative crown - the camel's nose under the tent and all that.

The problem with health care isn't that government isn't involved in running it, it is that government has been TOO involved in running it since the end of WWII.

As usual, government is not the solution. Government is the problem. But it's much easier to demonize those EVIL insurance companies who want to make a - GASP - PROFIT. Oh, the horror. The horror.

Our president is a callow, angry, arrogant adolescent who is utterly detached from reality.

Hey! Sounds like the profile of your average liberal!

Well, it takes all kinds, I suppose; there are still people who think Jimmy Carter was a great president (not just Jimmy, either).

And he WAS great - compared to this pompous, clueless buffoon. Barney Fife with attitude.

If that vapid douchebag wants to go around stabbing his party in the back by condescending to his "subjects" in multiple states, I say go for it. It can't be much longer before we start seeing bumper stickers that say "bad jOke," "hOpeless," "mOron" and the like.

Wherever he goes, and whoever he supports, just seems to fall apart lately. First there was the Olympic bid, then Virginia, New Jersey, then that funny trip to Copenhagen for Cap and steal (followed by the most snow, anyone has seen in a generation in the USA and Europe), finally to miracle in Massachusetts and #41. I love it!!

But the bad news though is, now he wants to build two Nuclear Power Plants down in Georgia. So you do the math, with his winning streak the way it is, how long is it going to be, before we have a nuclear reactor meltdown? China Syndrome anybody?

0-3, Obama takes to the road. « The Sagamore Journal links to this page. Here’s an excerpt:

…“Local Republicans are salivating at the prospect of Mr. Obama dropping into town to campaign for their opponents.” - Washington Times The Bruce laughs heartily at this statement, for truer words cannot be found, just take a look at Dear Leader’s track record: Virginia, Massachusetts, New Jersey… will we be chalking up two more Democrat losses in Nevada and Colorado?   Reply Click here…

Maybe the President can be persuaded to bring his "reverse Midas touch" to California and New York as well.

The President Campaigns – And Republicans Widen Their Lead | NewsReal Blog links to this page. Here’s an excerpt:

…Obama’s “Save the Senate” tour (going on this week in Nevada and Colorado) is something he can truly “…get behind.” After all, as Kirchhoefer’s February 16th AmSpecBlog post illustrates (with background from Joseph Curl’s same-day article in the Washington Times ), our Feckless Leader is doing more for Republican Morale than Monica Lewinsky did for cigar sales…

i agree--let BHO go on the road. But here is an interesting thought I had. Q: What do GWB and BHO have in common--A; They both destroyed their respective parties. BHO was unqualified to be president ( and as I said before on the other hand, if he is the standard -gd forbid --for our typical presidential candidate then by gd SP is qualified to be given a shot at it.
But anyway, back to BHO--this guy is acting like a combined fascist and marxist wrapped up in one People are not hailing Obama !! The more he talks the more they walk--so go one do your save the congress thing. I have one suggestion for BHO ( this is a joke )--be a Tea Party Activist !!!!!!!!

Oldefarte| 2.17.10 @ 10:59AM

Hooray, I'm all for his ROAD WORK. The more he and his administration expose their useless and unwanted policies, the more Americans will continue to go to the polls and vote AGAINST same!!!!!!!!!!
