Another major blow to Democrats this morning, with the stunning news that Sen. Evan Bayh will retire and not seek reelection this year. A popular former governor in Indiana with a long family history in the state, he would have been the strongest possible candidate. This is further indication that moderate Democrats running in red states are eager to jump ship in what they expect to be a rough November.

Perhaps all of this arm twisting is getting old. Decent people will not sell out core beliefs for the sake of POTUS. Lesson to be learned about the Chicago way.

I don't know...I'm a little concerned with all the Democrats retiring.

Wouldn't it be better if they ran for re-election to ensure the Conservative (Republican*) candidate is elected?

*hopefully the Republican candidate will be conservative - we can't afford to split the vote right now. Let's deal with RINOs when the Democrats are kicked out.

The internet has made it too hard for so-called moderate Democraps like Evan Bi to fool the voters.
