The Spectacle Blog

Here is Dave Holman's scoop for The American Spectator in the fall of 2006. Don't expect this to make it into many obituaries.

Yep, took the Lord to get rid of this corrupt politician. He succeeded where the justice dept failed. I wonder how many of these conservatives who are offering up the "condolences" are dancing a jig. Hypocrits.

You can wonder all you want. It must feel good for you to disparage so many with you idle thoughts.

Frankly my dear ( or sir) , I really don't give a damn. I look at the damage this man has done to this nation, the disparaging remarks he made about the Marines fighting in Iraq ( called them murderers) and some of you AH "conservatives", who haven't the gonads to call a spade a , a spade. You think we made this country great by being a**wipes to trash like Murtha? He's dead and good riddance. BTW, I am a Vietnam Vet myself and I really don't have any use for those namby pamby whine a** vets who think we owe them because they happened to serve. Yeah, some are heros but Murtha isn't one of them. He's a corrupt two bit politician who's where he won't be able screw anyone again.

If anything, we conservatives are TOO nice. We should call it like it is!

Good posts, Pete2.

"You can wonder all you want. It must feel good for you to disparage so many with you idle thoughts."

What about all those who celebrated when Joe McCarthy and Reagan died?
When Nixon died IN '94 a local Communist (and I mean a real member of the CPUSA), Richard Curtis, wrote to the daily paper:
"... now Tricky Dicky can burn in Hell forever!..."

A Brooks| 2.8.10 @ 11:10PM

Richard Curtis said far worse, in his letter to the liberal college town newspaper's editor; but this is a family site.
Curtis was-- and probably still is-- a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).
That's just one example of how if you don't like a conservative at all you go ballistic and say later: "I was just letting off steam."

Alan Brooks| 2.8.10 @ 11:00PM

DW40,
how many commies celebrated when:
Goldwater
Ike
WFB
Jerry Falwell
etc., etc.,
died?
it's only when YOUR ox is gored.

Franklin| 2.9.10 @ 2:09AM

How many lefties gushed about hoping that Rush Limbaugh was to the point of death during his recent scare?

JmsA| 2.9.10 @ 9:33AM

Just another democ(rat) who won't be running and doing harm to this country.

Dein| 2.9.10 @ 11:13AM

his political grandstanding ,false accusations and corruption destroyed many people
