If Palin would start a new party, then the situation would improve.
No point in a laundry list concerning the GOP-- to what purpose? The last decade is ancient history, but why did the GOP have to in effect say "you have a black man president? well here is a black RNC chairman. So there!"
King of the mountain is for Kindergarten. Am glad Steele is black, but it changes things approx

A third party will simply leave the socialist Democrats in power until 2016. at least. We need a party within a party. We need to have a strong faction within the GOP that is organized and has its own fundraising and structure. Sarah Palin can do this.

Kinda like how the "progressive" caucus now has control over the Democrat party. Of course, the good guys, Constitutionalists, need to control the Republican (and Democrat) party if America is to recover.
"Progressive" policies are just so bad and are out of date. The income tax just deprives people of their own money! Centralization is bad - decisions should be made as close to the people as possible. The Constitution just makes so much sense. Today we live in a time of emotion-voting, rather than reason-voting.

The GOP should be able to win by a majority or by - a plurality.
Cover all bases - ya hear, GOP?
Ya hear?

I can realistically see Palin capturing 35 percent of the popular vote as a third party candidate for President. After all, the gruff, abrasive Perot captured 19 percent. The only difference is Palin would win at least 10-12 states---guaranteed.

I gave up on the Perot "Patriot Party" after multiple run ins with the kooks who were worried about "Tri-Laterialist or just not interested in doing some of the heavy lifting because they did not want to be a part of the "party mess." The Tea Party people can do the most service by holding all registered parties to clear economic and fiscal choices.

Um, all I have to say about Palin, who was mocking Obama for reading telepromters during her speach was that she had TALKING POINTS WRITTEN ON HER HAND; http://andrewsullivan.theatlan.....sheet.html
I mean, honestly, she's talking at to the teabaggers and can't remember "Budget Cuts". Fail.
Roy| 2.8.10 @ 6:47AM
Teleprompter jokes really hit home, eh? ROFL.

A few words listing topics written on the palm
do not a total speech read from a teleprompter make

Fine, I'm an arse. You can pin your hopes in the pretty girl with the cute glasses, but I certainly won't.

It's a lot of bluster and noise, but in the end the Tea Party will be voting for whoever the Republican Party nominates... just like they always do. They have no choice, and the GOP leadership knows it.
Remember back in '08 when all the outraged talk-radio drones were screaming about how they'd "vote for Clinton over that awful McCain"? And then, after a "lot of soul-searching," they "reluctantly" endorsed the Republican. AGAIN.
Just like the GOP always knew they would. And they always will. The Republican Party OWNS you and your votes, Tea Partiers; quit pretending you have a voice of your own. Just line up like obedient sheep and keep voting for those "R"s.
hippieconservative| 2.9.10 @ 1:23AM
she does have great legs
bob| 2.11.10 @ 9:17AM
No, you'd rather pin your hopes on the jug-eared chain-smoking Marxist narcissist. Good luck with that.
