The Violence of the Lambs

By now everyone has likely seen the Carly Fiorina sheep ad. Crazy? Sure! Over the top? Definitely! Totally unprecedented? Nope. I have a feeling someone on Fiorina's staff must be a B horror flick fan because the campaign's attack has a great 2007 New Zealand pedigree, as seen below.

The silver lining for Tom Campbell, I suppose, is that Black Sheep ultimately serves as a cautionary tale against riling up both regular as well as genetically cross-bred man-sheep. Also, some of Fiorina's campaign war chest clearly has to go to paying some Kiwis royalties...

Is that a Mel Gibson film? Creepy!

I just saw Black Sheep two days ago, and now this. Weird.

Heh. I recommended "Black Sheep" to my older sister, who watched it with her college-age daughter. I'm still not sure she's completely forgiven me.

That Carly Fiorina ad is grotesque and insane. I'm still voting for Tom Campbell.

The ad is creepy and bizzare. However the unaddressed question is; is it accurate?
Campbell is running as a tightwad fiscal conservative. If he really supported all the tax increases he's accused of he'll need more than ridicule of some zombie sheep to get votes. Given the present black mood in CA he's going to have to work harder to get mine and many others'.

Now Chuck DeVore (the 3rd GOP candidate) has jumped in with both feet and, unlike Fiorina, knows how to play the whole thing: http://demonsheep.org/demonsheep/.

Forget Tom Campbell--the RINO will NEVER get my vote.
