Paul Bedard has leaked Monday's planned announcement that Sam Dealey has been selected as the new Editor-in-Chief of the Washington Times.
I could write pages about why this bold choice is a good thing and what a great and talented guy Sam --who incidentally is no stranger to us here in AmSpecLand -- is. But since this is a blog, I will leave it at this: Sam Dealey has what it takes to make that paper great again. Let us all hope he is given the tools, trust and the freedom to do that. Congratulations to both Sam Dealey and the Washington Times from all of us….

Curious, is he any relation to CDR Sam Dealey skipper of the USS Harder in WWII ?
