Watch how New Hampshire Republican Sen. Judd Gregg confronts MSNBC's Contessa Brewer for following the Left tactic of accusing conservatives of planning to gut education (or some core government function). As captured by the Media Research Center:
If conservatives are going to bother to appear on this little-watched cable network, they might as well help them understand why their ratings are low.

That was kind of fun to watch.

I love when someone with brains actually is asked questions by someone who only has memorized talking points in their head.

Education is not a "core function" of the Federal Government. Education is not a function of the Federal Government at all. Conservatives used to understand this.

I agree, Red, which is why I said "or."

OK. I catch that now. Thanks.
It just bugs me when Republicans react indignantly whenever it is suggested by Democrats that they want to cut Program X. "How dare you suggest we want to cut Program X!" When there is a 90% likelihood that Program X is not something the Feds are supposed to be doing anyway. I don't know how you ever cut spending without actually cutting programs.

Don't you just love MSNBC? Cocky, brash, arrogant. Of course you do. Kind of reminds me a Kenyan I am aware of.

....The contessa, Caught off guard when a Republican actually confronts her with her own words. Imagine where we might be now if this happened anytime media faces tried to pigeon hole Republicans/conservatives into the same old stereotypes lazy Democrats have come to rely on.
This is 'proof of life' in the Republican Party.

My advice for those in politics that do not drink the Obama Cool Aid: Do NOT appear on ANY MSM " news show" UNLESS it is understood that you will fire back( and you will need to ) when provoked. And, if rules are broken by any MSM entity, the interview is over. The breaking the rules will be the news.

Why on Earth Gregg considered joining in with the Kenyan is beyond me. DC politics DO make strange bedfellows. Glad he came to his senses. Maybe he realized that he'd be a colleague of Napolitano and thereby dodged a big bullet.
