More Cornyn Numskullery

Somebody needs to save the republic from the screw-ups of the head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Twice, the increasingly counterproductive senator from Texas, John Cornyn, told Larry Kudlow that for the GOP to retake the Senate this year would be "numerically impossible." Amazing. As Bugs Bunny was fond of saying, "what a maroon."

Imagine Ike telling the soldiers before D-Day that they would all die on the beach, in vain. Imagine Lombardi telling the Packers that winning is a pipe dream. Imagine Yoda telling Luke Skywalker that the Force was kaput.

John Cornyn joins RNC chairman Michael Steele, who told the world that Republicans aren't ready to lead.

These statements should be fireable offenses. Nuff said.

The Saints are going to the Super Bowl -- and this guy thinks things are numerically impossible? Ha! What a schmoo.

Cornyn and Steele have no control over hopefully
scrutinous PRIMARY voters.

Those two may well be - deservedly so - extraneous to the GOP 2010 elections prospects.

Yo - Colts!

In some respects, I AGREE WITH Cornyn's and Steele's political assessment of the current Republican Party, whose political leaders allowed Obama's election by their politically correct attitudes/actions. Even though they've made a courageous stand against Obama/Democrats on this healthcare issue, the fact remains that the DC Republicans have been playing POLITICAL FOOTSIE with Democrats for too long. If Bush/Republicans had not gotten entangled in the middle east wars [and also passed the the budget/debt busting Medicare drug bill/legislation]; then Obama most probably would not be President for the humongous term of four years! The Republicans need to get out of political bed with Democrats, realize that America is sick and tired of this liberalism [and/or moderation], and begin nominating/electing candidates that are true conservatives who will begin to run our government like a business and not like a welfare cash-cow funded by the the taxpayers!!!!!
