Kristol to Hillyer to Pence

Bill Kristol gets credit for being the first to prominently float the idea. I advanced it (look at about the 13th paragraph). Now Mike Pence apparently really is thinking about it. Pence for Senate, against Evan Bayh? Methinks it is very doable.

Being unfamiliar with his political ideas, I'll defer to your recommendation and say, ABSOLUTELY! One question, though----if Pence is a House Rep and then becomes a Senator, would that be one loss and one gain; with one negating the other? Wouldn't it be better to keep Pence as a Rep and to elect a true conservative to go against Bayh?

Lets have tuppence! Nay - a hundred. Mike is a fine man.

The paradigm is shifting.

Bayh is already tying to distance himself from the radicals in his party. But that is now. Prior to that he talked a good game on occasion but was always Obama and Reid's rubber stamp when needed. If he wants to reacquaint himself with Hoosier values, he can retire to Indiana now and save us the trouble of voting him out.

Bye, Bye, Bayh.

I'd say maybe to this idea. Too bad we can't replace another Democrat with Bayh. He's one of the better dems ...

I would love to have him "Back home in Indiana" as Govenor when Mitch Daniels' term (limits) is up. We need to keep the momentum going in Indiana. Pence reflects what Indiana conservative Republicans stand for and have a record to show for it.
